BBB Torch Awards (BBB Staff)
BBB Delaware award applications are open and we are currently soliciting for nominations for our outstanding business awards for 2025.
Local Delaware companies are invited to apply for awards that recognize outstanding commitment to BBB's mission along with excellence in leadership and service.
Once again, the three awards for outstanding commitment to ethics and integrity in the Delaware community are the Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics (given in multiple size categories),
Next up, our annual award for a family-owned business, the Edward M. Rush Sr. Memorial Award and finally, the Thrive Award for Community Impact, which looks to honor companies that create a better community for Delawareans.
Applications for the TORCH, RUSH, and THRIVE awards are available online. The submission deadline is March 16, 2025.

- Entries are evaluated by an independent, voluntary panel of judges comprised of business and community leaders. Judges do not work for the organization; therefore, the application should provide a robust and accurate description of the organization’s impact.
- The mission of the Awards Program is to bring recognition and celebrate incredible Delaware companies who go above and beyond for their employees, customers, partners, and our community.
- The selection committee will evaluate all applications and may ask for additional information from nominees. The winner will be recognized at the annual BBB Awards Celebration in May.
- Nominees must be BBB Accredited Businesses.
