I purchased a house from Douglas Homes in June 2023 ** *** *********** ********* ** ******** *******, with the promise of completion by the end of the year. Unfortunately, as of almost march 2024, the construction is still ongoing, causing significant inconvenience and disappointment. While I understand that delays can occur, the lack of communication regarding the reasons for the delay and a realistic timeline for completion has been frustrating. I urge Douglas Homes to improve transparency and communication with customers regarding construction progress. Overall, I am disappointed with the delay and hope that Douglas Homes can expedite the construction process and provide clearer communication in the future.

I have nothing but praise for Douglas Homes. The quality of the build, attention to detail and the customer service were all second to none. I would recommend them to anyone interested in building a home.Douglas Homes

Horrible builder. improperly build stair and railing caused home owner a broken arm. chipped and squeaked hardwood floors, furnace vent reversed, many leaking windows, frosty basement walls, bathtub cracked , paint rough and bumpy,and peeled, granite chipped, insulation not enough causing water coming out from the soffit, waving facia, leaking eave trough, folding and wrinkled soffit, door can not be closed properly, chipped door, scratched cabinets, garage improperly wired, fireplace scratched and more .... the issues are from A to Z their staffs are rude , they harassed home owners for over a year , owners took many and many times off and they still did not fix the issues and did not do the 1 year or 3 month walkthrough, horrible staff and builder.Douglas Homes
