    On may 25 Hopewell had a :rd party company come out and plan trees in the community of mahogany saying its a city program - there was NO notice given and they tore up my property that I had paid thousands of dollars to get landscaped and had planted tree that I didnt want. I contacted ******* on mah 25 after the tree was planted to express my frustration and angry that my property was damaged and the company who placed the tree did not place my property back to the way I wanted. I now have a tree I never asked for. My landscaping was cut up for no reason. ************************* that I spoke to at hopewell told he he would get someone to come out to fix it to the way I wanted. I wanted my landscaping fabric replaced to cover the dirty hole they created. He said someone would come out. No one ever contacted me. I contacted ************ June 5 and he said he would get me a timeline. No timeline has ever been given. I then noticed on my security cameras someone came by on June 22 and just moved my rocks around - and did not replace the damaged fabric. I contacted **** yet again and still not response back. I am so angry that my property is now damage I have a tree Ive never requested all I am wanting. Is someone to contact me come to my door and replace what they destroyed I will have this tree on my property that is fine. I will not take care of it I will never water this tree. I want someone to come out replace the fabric that is damage so that it is back to the way that I pay thousands of dollars to have. I did not want a tree I wanted complete gravel so I did not have weeds. I want this fabric replaced so that I do not have weed and its back to the way it was. I am extremely upset that I have to now submit this complaint after having gone back-and-forth with someone at Hopewell for over a month and Im not getting anywhere with anybody. What sort of customer service are you guys running that you guys will damage property

    Thank you for your message. Hopewell Residential as a land developer is required by the *************** to **********-owned trees as per the *************** Residential Streetscape Program. It is the responsibility of each home builder to communicate this information to purchasers so that they are aware that a tree (or multiple trees) could be planted on or near their homes property. In this particular case, the tree is planted on City-owned land behind the sidewalk within the road right-of-way, and not on the property owned by the homeowner.

    We are sorry to hear of the frustrating experience you have had with this program. Hopewell has received your communications and has been in discussion with its landscaping company to rectify the issue you described above. The landscaping company did confirm that the landscaping fabric would be repaired. We will follow up with them directly.
