Shaw is billing me for $426.54 for early service cancellation. My contract with them was for 2 years ending August 21, 2021. I was contacted by one of their telephone solicitors to rene and upgrade the internet service for a further 2 years, at a higher cost. I was not informed that this would have immediate effect and terminate the old contract early. I received the new written contract on July 16, 2021 and was surprised by its terms - it provides for service at $129.99 per month with a minimum of $70. It contains many pages of leaglese and "PLUS THIS AND MINUS THAT". I cannot understand it. I immediately called the customer service about it. The CSR was not able to satisfy me so I informed her that I wish to cancel the contract. Now SHAW wants me to pay for 23 months "early cancellation" fee. This is unreasonable and unfair. I canceled within 10 days of receiving the contract as is my legal right. Account *************Business response
