  We booked United Movers Canada for our move from ** to ** for the end of Oct. 2024. The price quoted was reasonable and we thought they were a reputable company. However, we were sorely mistaken. The day we were to move, an unmarked moving truck pulled up. The truck was to small, they would have to go get another truck, we will be 2 to 3 hours. 6 hours later after numerous calls from us, they finally came. This was about 8 oclock at night now. They had an additional person to help move some of the larger items but they banged and bashed the walls so badly (15 huge gashes), they justify that is not there responsibilty. So be prepared to patch! They also broke a highly expensive treadmill and then blamed us the customer for their recklessness.Invoice quote was $2000 dollars over. We requested the scale ticket. The scale ticket is supposed to come from a government scale this one we received appeared to be an old truck stop that looked out of business. Just a note, we tried to ensure our belongings but the insurance company would not because it looked very sketchy!Received items after 2 weeks notice given. Delays on that end as well. There were quite a few missing boxes, large items like a ladder, and a glass table top (which they packed). They also broke the glass China cabinet shelves in which they wrapped. As well as an antique chair. Claims department was super rude! I was actually told that she preferred not to talk to the customer on the phone but through email. What you will be offered is $300 hundred dollars. We declined. As the price of damage and loss is way more then that. We have still not heard a word from them from our last email in January 2025 and most likely will not.Double check the fine print. They do not give inventory lists as they indicate and what you will hear from them is justification over and over. We will never use this company ever again and we hope those reading this will never use them.

  Worst company ever. Charged extra 1000. Was given a delivery date, my stuff didnt arrive for 4 days after. Sleeping in the floor with no personal belongings because this company does not care about you once they have your money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

  This was a nightmare the first time these guys were late. I asked the workers was the reservations made they didn’t answer. The one guy asked where they should start and what needs to be packed? I took them around showed what needed to be packed and taken. Pieces of our medical bed were on the floor. They came to the living room and said they were ready to go, I said what about the pictures on the wall and the china cabinet needed to be packed. The dining room table needed the top taken off they said we don’t have screwdrivers to take it down my husband gave them the screwdrivers and they said no time to take it down they carried it out hit the frame of the door and tried to put the table into the elevator with the door not fully open. The one guy said we have a big job to do tomorrow, we will be getting good money, We have to get the on the ferry today. They went to truck we were watch them they started to close the moving truck doors and we said what about the rest of the stuff. And they said they’ve already packed everything in the truck and they cannot pack anymore and left. The Bathroom, Closet , Kitchen cupboards weren’t even touched parts of bed frame was still on the floor. The movers kept telling us to take the dogs for a walk thank goodness we didn’t what else would have happened. Called the cleaning lady to come and ask her if she would take some of stuff till we come back. We had to go to Winnipeg not sure how Long we were going for are younger son was sick. We never had the weight of our 2 bedroom When I sent the deposit to United Movers that’s when I asked Sandra about storage and we said that would be fine until we know what we were doing. The company tried to tell us they were 1/2 way to Winnipeg. The furniture has been in Richmond in the storage unit right from the beginning. The owner of United Movers and said it was my fault that he had to send these guys back to their Country because I complained and now they can’t feed their family.

  This company did not serve me fairly.they told me that driver will provide me empty truck weight scale receipt than after loading my stuff they will provide me another scale receipt but they did not give me that receipt also. They supposed to pick up my stuff on particular date but failed to do so, I got final scale receipt 5,000+ lbs but driver told me it was approximately 3,500 lbs ( verbally) Company didn’t provide me any explanation how this happened. Be aware for this company before you deal with them.

  United movers moved us from ******** to *******. They were timely, professional, friendly, and worked very quickly. Very happy with the price and quality of services! Definitely recommend them, and we will be using them again!The best experiences I have had with moving company. They are very professional and hard work. Thank you, United movers.

  Worst moving company ever , I booked a semi truck and 4 movers to move my items 2 months prior to moving ,then called 6 weeks then 4 weeks then 2 weeks before I moved saying I needed a semi truck . The customer service rep said no problem. 1 week prior I called again to insure that I would get the semi, and once again I was told no problem. On the day of moving to my surprise a 15 ton truck showed , I asked the movers where my semi was they said it would all fit in the truck provided . I called the person I was dealing with on the phone and she gave me additide saying it was my fault for not booking the right truck . The movers where amazing but the company was brutal, I called , e mailed and left voice message to speak to a manager and no one called me back . DO NOT USE UNITED MOVERS WORST MOVING COMPANY OUT THERE

  My parents used this moving company for their cross-provincial, residential move from ******* to Vancouver Island in the Spring of 2023. We did a lot of research on various companies offering these types of services in *******, and United Moves were by far the best deal, as well as the most committed to communicating with us. I would highly and specifically recommend working with ********, who single-handedly helped us navigate all the policies associated with the move and proper packing, as well as helping us keep track of arranging pick up and delivery dates and times and helping us track the packed items during shipment period. As long as you follow the clearly outlined policies and rules regarding packing, as well as have a clear POC such as ********, you are in great hands with this company. Not a single item was damaged during shipment, and everything got picked up and arrived on time, as discussed. But I would say overall - ******** is the person who made this experience extraordinary, I sincerely appreciate all her help in making this process as least-stressful as possible. Thank you a million times ********!

  This was the absolute worse company ever. They showed up in a beat up truck no signage and we had a hard time finding license plate. Our mover had flip flops on. Hoodies over their heads. They started loading stuff with no tags or record sheets we stopped them and told them we wanted everything tagged and recorded. Sketchy business. Showed up on the other end demanding more money. Got into it with my husband screaming and swearing at us. Todate I have 15 boxes unaccounted for. Tons of stuff broken. Read the fine print you only have ten days to claim and it was based on weight not value. They snapped my lamp and it disappeared. The mover was shaking my box with toaster in asking where I wanted it and that box disappeared. We have moved many times Im talking at least ten with the military and my husband thought he called the company who always moved us but we ended up with this company. Run dont walk as fast as you can from this company. Getting a quote was useless and we sold all our furniture so we had none to move yet the cost of this move was out of this world. They took no care in carrying boxes dropping them in front of us. Scary experience with ****** movers. I took pictures of the movers and called the police to make sure they were legit. Never again

  Worst moving company ever. They were late to pick up, a week late to drop off. They broke my brand new $600 air conditioner. The lost SEVERAL boxes. The customer service was awful and the movers on the ** side were rude and arrogant. They also charged an outrageous amount for a couple of boxes. Their insurance is garbage. $200 deductible and they pay you .40cents a pound. Do NOT use this **** company.

  Very good to deal with during quotation and pre-move, but once they had your stuff, it all changed. THey were late on both ends and kept blaming 'mechanical issues' which is in the contract and became a very handy out for them. Also, kept trying to come early as it was convenient for them usually on a couple hours notice. Also, do not forget matress bags cheap plastic bags they have on a roll, that they charge $40/each for!! Ridiculous gouging that they get away with because they have you over a barrel. The workers themselves were excellent on both ends however. Very polite, hardworking and careful.Also, they make you pay in full before the job is even done!! Never heard of this before! WOuld not recommend them to anyone.
