    I bought a pre-owned car from South Pointe Toyota, finalized the deal and picked up the car January 15th, ****. I went to the dealership a week before to view the cars they have and really liked 2017 **** Edge which I finally bought. On the day of viewing, there were two issues highlighted to the salesperson - Broken windshield and low tire pressure in the front right wheel. I was told that both these issues will be taken care of by the day of pick up which was after a week. On the day of pick up, the tire pressure looked fine and the windshield was repaired. I reached home and the next day I saw the tire went flat. I went to a tire repair shop and the mechanic informed that the tire rim has a damage which leads to air leakage. Further, tire is worn on the side of the damage rendering it not useful anymore.I believe this damage should have been highlighted as this is not something I as a customer could gauge in any way. However, I did highlight the issue with the tire pressure which should have been taken care of.

    In March 2022 my wife's car was totalled off and required a replacement. After sending an information request to South Pointe Toyota regarding a new vehicle I received daily messages from the sales person pestering me to come in and look at a new Toyota. On April 14 my wife and I stopped at South Pointe Toyota as I needed a vehicle by September 1. *************************** the sales person assured me that delivery was 4 to 5 months out, just within my time frame as not to walk away. I paid a $1000 Non-refundable deposit on the vehicle and assumed I would be receiving my new Tundra truck in 4 to 5 months. I attempted to get a delivery update from the sales person by sending a text message, no response, voice message, no response, e-mail, no response and finally I stopped in at SouthPointe and was told the sales person was not in. On August 19, 2022 I stopped at South Pointe expecting news of the immediate delivery of my Tundra. I met with ***************************** who told me that my truck was not being delivered and would not even be allocated from Toyota or ordered for another 2-3 months, and I would not see a new truck for another 4-6 months. If I was not willfully misled by deceptive sales practices I would not have put a deposit on a vehicle that was a **** month wait. I need a vehicle and now find myself walking away from $1000 because I was lied to by the sales person. I need my new Tundra by September 15 as promised, or I want my deposit returned and I will buy a truck that is available for immediate delivery. I am hopeful this issue be resolved, but would not recommend South pointe Toyota to anyone.
