This is regarding the storage, handling and delivery of our upright ******************************* Piano by Calgary Piano Movers. The piano was stored from September 16th to November 23rd on which day it was delivered to our home in Red Deer County. Once delivery was complete and the movers left we noticed some new damage to the front right hand side of the keyboard area. When we called the owner to ask if he had noticed it and what happened he made the excuse that there was some old repair there and that the stain must have rubbed off with moving blankets. At the time we accepted his comment and followed up with the moving company that brought the piano from ******** to Calgary and left it with Calgary piano movers to cross reference their pictures with the current state of the piano. Upon inspection of their as left pictures the damage we found was not there at that time. Calgary piano movers also sent us pictures saying the damage is visible but it clearly is not. Our attempts to communicate with Calgary Piano Movers professionally have been met with aggressive responses and a refusal to acknowledge our concerns and threats of legal action. We have also researched their past reviews now and it appears there is a pattern of this behavior, we also noted the owner was very short and disrespectful to his moving helper when they attended to our home. At no point during the discussion did we refuse payment nor did the owner request payment only went directly to being defensive and threatening legal action. Our hope is to have the charges reduced to cover the repairs to the new damaged that occurred while our piano was in Calgary Piano movers care and control. This business needs to be held accountable to prevent future incidents with consumers.
