I wanted to earn a certificate to better myself. I had tried traditional college courses but due to a mental impairment, it was very difficult for me. Finally, someone recommended IAP Career College to me and I further investigated what the school offered. Although I was nervous about trying school once more, I thought that this might be the right learning situation for me. After completing the first ****** in my course successfully, I rejoiceed! My resolve was renewed and I was able to finally meet my goal! My official certificate arrived in the mail and it felt really good! I would recommend this college to anyone that wants to further their knowledge and level up in their career. Earning a certificate has been a game changer for me, I did it!

Although the information presented was not without usefulness, it was lacking the things I really need. Very focused on starting and running my own business and precious little on the duties of a book editor. I am a former newspaper editor wanting to now do book editing. I had hoped to learn some details about the specific duties of a book editor. Non-fiction is fine. I don't want to worry about character development, just want to know the basics. In newspaper editing we are told it is a "hands off" job. Is it the same with book editing? If that is the case, then I would be nothing more than a book copy editor, something I would not need help with. But I suspect there is more to it. For instance, aren't there more adjectives used in books, even non-fiction books? What are the steps in helping your author get published?IAP Career College

We do understand that our courses may not always meet each students needs. It sounds like you did not take advantage of the faculty member sessions that were available for this course. Offered with your course an assigned faculty member was available for the duration of the course prior to taking the final exam and receiving your certificate. I highly recommend IAP Career College online courses to everyone whos on the outlook for another career path (change) or just out of personal interest and development. As I never accessed or utilized any of these programs, I believe it is fair to receive a refund for the unused services.I understand that your company's refund policy may have specific guidelines, but I would greatly appreciate consideration for a refund in this situation.
