I signed the contract with **** who is the owner of Deseo designs on November 18,2022 for the total agreed price of $13000.00 The contract was for kitchen Quartz countertops. Island Installation with waterfall, New Gas line external, painting, flooring, backsplash of same material as countertops and chimney. The whole project agreed amount we $13000.00 out of which he collected first prepayment of $6600 on day of signing contract saying he needs to buy countertops. Seconded payment he collected $3000 on 22 December after doing painting. He said he is going to start with countertops ,backsplash ,flooring , island , painting , Gas line and chimney. After collecting the prepayment he disappeared for 2 weeks upon calling and messaging him several times he said he is going to start with painting as he has placed the order for countertops. He took a month to finish painting with lots of damage to cabinets which are still Not attended. Same thing with flooring and lastly he brought the island cabinets and after that he said I need to pay another $7000 dollars on top of $13000 if I want the countertops to be done for which I refused. Then I offered him a deal with 3 options. 1. You pay back $5500 and keep $4100 for the job you did. 2. You finish gas line, chimney and the incomplete job on cabinets and flooring and pay back $2500.00 He agreed on option 2 and said he will bring the $2500 check by 13 February and finish everything by 17 February. Later he refused to oblige. I cancelled the contract on 17 February and asked him to return my money. Haven’t heard back from him or received any check. I request the authorities to help me getting my hard earned money back from this company.

Breach of contract : On 30 Nov 2022, 2326921 Alta Corp O/A Deseo Design agreed to do the following work: Basement Development at a cost of $20,000 (copy of contract attached). We agreed this work would be started by 2 December 2022 and that this work would be completed by 15 January 2023. However, I have had the following problems: The contractor only came 3 days to complete initial work for which he took 4 bank drafts $3000 each, total amount paid to contractor $12,000 which is more than 60% of the contract amount. Deseo Design’s ******* ******* said that they had applied for permit effective Dec 10, 2022. After constant follow ups for work completion and permit inquiry requests, the contractor kept giving false information. When we contacted City of Edmonton to inquire, no application was submitted for permit. There is still no application as per City of Edmonton for development. He sent us a photo of development permit application which was not submitted and falsely claimed that the application was submitted. According to the contract above, I am entitled to have this work done by the date we agreed. He is not valid to operate as a pre-paid contractor and has proceeded to take $12,000 In advance for work that has not been completed. As per extended cancellation right I would like to cancel the contract and request Deseo Design to refund $12,000 within 15 days of this complaint. He has director’s order against his company named ******* ***** *** and he should not be operating as a pre-paid contractor.

BREACH OF CONTRACT, UNPROFESSIONAL WORK AND FALSE PROMISES. I entered into a contract with Deseo Designs (Mr. ****) to finish my basement (non-legal) on Aug 18th, 2022 with a completion date of Sep 30th, 2022. After initial work done for a few days and payment of CAD 9,500.00 collected, **** has since then not applied for permits with the City of Edmonton. **** has only been promising to get the permits since last 6+ weeks. When I (the owner of the house) contacted the City of Edmonton to check on the permit applications, I was informed that no permits were applied - neither to start the work, nor to inspect the work done. After many attempts to get an update, **** only keeps promising that the permits will be available "by end of day" and this has now been going on for more than 6 weeks. My basement is now in a mess, I have had to cancel my personal travel plans and other commitments due to this. I now seek *** involvement to resolve this issue and enforce the contractor to complete his works with no further delays and as per all the legal & obligatory requirements from the City of Edmonton or other jurisdictions as applicable of the site address.

****** ******* ****** ****  Relocated the ad on 19 April, 2020 to **** *** ** ******* *** **** this action was carried out in line with contract clause but still as an apology gesture added 3 months free Airtime and informed through email. Further advert was relocated on 26 August, 2022 to ********* *** **** ***** * ********** ****** – Red Deer since you weren’t happy with it hence we relocated to new site ****** ****** ****** ****** upon your approval.

You have sent us termination request on 25 November 2021, stating” Although you provide great services, it is not in our budget to continue digital marketing services with you at this time. We would like to terminate the contract on good terms as soon as possible. “   Immediately on same day termination has been placed and replied back to you but by then their contract was already auto renewed in the next year as per contract clause. as per our contract clause termination request from customer should receive within 18months from the date the contract has been signed ideally we should have received it before May, 2020. But we received it on 25th November,2021 almost delayed by 6 months.

You have has signed the contract copy which means you have read and are aware of terms and conditions.  You would have to understand that we have not breached the contractual obligations, however you are by not cooperating with us being rigid to make the payment that you are legally obligated to make and in despite of accepting by yourself our services were great now you are saying you haven’t received any service. In the past we never received any request of play logs from your end in fact you have always asked us where the ad is running but never asked once for the play logs.

You need to understand that we will be holding you to the contractual obligations. There is some arrears to pay if you are  finding it difficult we can restructure the payment plan for you to make it easier to pay.

Play logs will take little time but we can give only recent information in regards with the play logs as soon I download will share it with you.

    Kind regards,
