    I put a $1000 deposit on a new truck at team ford in may 2022. The truck was supposed to be delivered august 19 2022. The delivery date came and went, no truck. I call team ford they can’t give me a delivery date. So I wait a week try calling back to get a update and nobody will take my call. The following week I bought a new truck at another dealership. I emailed the ***** ******* at team ford that I no longer needed the truck from them and I would like my deposit back because they failed to deliver me my truck. The ***** ******* never responded to my email and now I’m just out $1000. Still no response from team ford weeks later

    I am continually contacted via email from different members of the GO Auto group to purchase or finance vehicles. I have been assured by ****** ******* and ****** ******** on several occasions that my contact information would be removed in it entirety and that I would receive no further contact from their company. However last night I was contacted again by a sales person I have NEVER spoken to, about a vehicle I have NEVER searched or sought to purchase. They referenced a file that has been opened in my name without my consent.

    Thank you for letting us know. I do not believe anyone from Team Ford did reach out to her however i can see in her attachments that she has previously been dealing with a couple of people from our corporate offices regarding a different store. I have forwarded this complaint to them as well.

    Went to get details on ordering new truck in February 2022. After visiting team ford and leaving my info, went to sherwood ford. Set up a tentative order sheet with sherwood ford waiting on final decision from my wife. Got a phonecall from team ford saying they'd beat the deal. Came out to 103000 tax in. Truck arrived may 28. Went to pick it up. Finalizing paperwork, and it states 104000 plus tax. I was confused as our agreement was 103000 tax in. Finance associate called sales person. Sales person said yes it was 103000 all in and began searching for record with sales managers signature. Only paperwork found showed 103000 as purchase price with some taxes crossed out, not others. Sales manager came in, reprimanded salesperson saying no one would approve that price taxes in, sales person then said ya I guess your right, it must have been plus tax. Sales manager kept pushing that he could refund my deposit. After repeating that several times I got upset and felt I was being pushed out. I left. As I went outside and drove home, I decided I'd pay whatever was extra because I wanted the truck I've waited for for 3 months. Called back within 7 minutes of leaving dealership, was told the truck is sold. On May 30, I decided to drive by the dealer, saw the truck standing on lot for sale. I checked their website, my truck with corresponding Vin was for sale online, 2 days after they told me it was instantly sold. No price listed. Requested more info on their website, got a phone call next morning from a sales person saying it was still available. I asked what the price was, he then proceeded to ask if I was the one who initially ordered the truck. I said yes I was. He said he'd go check with his manager if they could. Waited 3 hours for a response. Called the dealership and left 2 messages for the general manager who the receptionsit confirmed was in his office. Waited another hour for a response. Still nothing.     There was a miscommunication with the agreed upon price at time of order so there was some frustrations on both sides at time of delivery and both parties were not able to come to an agreement. The dealership returned the customers original deposit on the truck and canceled the transaction. As of right now there has not been any agreements to reinstate the previous deal that was canceled.

    The sale price on the truck was always 103k plus taxes there was no communications from us that said otherwise.  The customer assumed that it was tax in on his own because there was a fee  (etch/tire tax ) charge that was crossed off on the bill of sale. While sitting down with our staff at the store trying to resolve the miss communication the customer took it upon himself to start calling our staff derogatory names.  We did not force a refund we simply refunded the customer deposit after we mutually agreed that we could not come to terms with taking off an additional 5k off the price. Since then he has left us bad reviews, this BBB complaint, sent family in and has also sent inquires in online on the truck.. We have came to the conclusion that he is just simply not a person that we would like to conduct any business with whatsoever.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The discussion in the office about the price started with the finance person, who called in the sales person. The finance person had 104000 plus tax on his sales form which I had not seen before. The sales person came in and agreed it was 103000 tax in. He began searching his documents as he remembered the same as me. That is when the sales manager became involved and told the sales person he is wrong and no one would approve it. The salesperson found our original signed sales order which was for 103000 and had some taxes crossed out, others not. That is when myself and the saleperson began trying to come to an agreement as the sales manager continued to cut off our conversations and push a refund of deposit on me. my wife and I were both in the room, no name calling was done. No derogatory words were said or actions committed.  There was immense pressure from the sales manager to take the deposit back. Trying to use my complaint as an excuse to say that is the reason you decided to not do business with me is laughable. On Saturday May 28 the dealership took the step of deciding to not do business with me as I believe they had ulterior motives to upsell the vehicle. On May 30 I saw the truck advertised online as available. I sent in an enquiry and was promptly responded to by an eager sales person asking if I'd like to come see it as it is available. May 31st I had someone go check out the vehicle as I was initially lied to about it being sold on the 28. This dealership continues to lie even now about their timing of not doing business with me. I don't see why they are offended by me leaving an honest review and submitting a complaint to BBB about my experience with them as these platforms are meant for honest reviews and i believe i have not misrepresented or exaggerated my expierence at all. This continues to show their unethical practices of trying to mix time lines to attempt to save themselves from the truth of their actions and business practices. It is fine if you decide not conduct any business with me whatsoever, that is your choice to make. I'm just surprised at this last comment as the general manager was calling me at 1020 am on June 1 trying to figure out what happened and see if there was anything we could do to have both parties walk away from this poor experience without feelings of contempt for each other. In the phonecall he mentioned he would look into it and call me back. I guess this phonecall was just for show as I see it is him writing the last response with this completely different tone. I'm sorry to see that a seemingly professional phonecall to help a situation was followed by an attack answer taking a lot of factual liberties on what happened trying to smear me on a platform meant to mediate business conflicts. I will assume this is your answer and not continue waiting for your phonecall response from our discussion yesterday. Sincerely,
