  COOPER ROOFING keeps making excuses why my roof is still leaking after l paid them to fix it.l did all the things they asked me to.I have now installed eavestrough and had the eavestrough company come back because of the continuous leaking.They have confirmed its a Roofing problem.l need help dealing with Cooper Roofing the managers name is ******.l have all the excuses and recommendations to fix the on going leaks,but still leaks.The damage from the on going leaking since may 2023 is catastrophic.l have even caulked around the bedroom window upon ******s recommendations and installed eavestrough.****** even sends an email about coming by one evening but he could see we were eating so he didn't bother us but l should get New eavestrough because the windows can't handle the rain off the roof.l have pictures and emails of all the neglect to fix our roof but took my money.

  Customer was contacted to discuss concerns. A site meeting occurred to view the concerns **** had in the bedroom. After review of the inside of the bedroom and the roof area, a plan to fully seal 5 seams over the bedroom area. There will be no additional cost for this work and the work will commence as soon as weather permits (+5 degrees or better for 24 hours is ideal, but all options will be considered to have this sealed before any additional water enters the building).

  I am rejecting this response because:l need it to rain, or snow to melt.To make sure the roof has been repaired and there's no leak.

  I also want to be compensated for the damage do to Cooper Roofings negligence.I hired Cooper Roofing to repair my foot 6 months ago and the roof still leaked.Not even sure it's fixed and l wantbto be compensated for the water damage to the window frame and walls.

  Good Morning All,

  I understand ****s concern. This work being completed will also be added into the 5 year warranty provided by Cooper Roofing on any repairs completed by us. This is NOT a warranty on the entire roof and is just on areas we repaired. A separate quotation for a coating on the ENTIRE roof area was provided and not approved. This coating would have included a 10-year warranty on the entire roof.

  We disagree with the customer's request for compensation. Cooper Roofing was contacted due to the concerns with this roof in various areas. This roof had been leaking BEFORE Cooper Roofing had been hired and is NOT leaking due to the work Cooper Roofing had previously done. Our repair proposal includes doing additional areas that were not addressed in our original repair. This work will be done at NO COST to **** *******.

  Also of note is that the original repairs were only partially paid for by **** *******. **** had a home inspector he took issue with and IN PROTEST, the home inspector paid for some of the repairs. 

  Regardless, we strive to repair the leaking over the bedroom window in ****s home, will do these repairs at no cost to **** and will also include them in our five-year workmanship warranty on repairs completed by Cooper Roofing.

  I am rejecting this response because:The roof continued to leak after the so called repairs.Within a week after the repair it rainrd and the roof continued to leak in my daughter's room.l have documented all my attempts to have Cooper Roofing come back and look at the continued leaking.l have emails and notes.lt wasn't untill l caught **** at 7am and explained my situation and l had allready made a report to the *****.l caulked the window like ******* told me.When that didn't work ****** sent me an email.In the email ****** tells me he came to my home,but could see through the window.l was having supper and didn't want to bother me,but he could see that there was to much rain coming off the roof and l needed to install eavestrough.So l installed eavestrough.That did not work either.The roof still leaked.l have pictures of window frame where it's leaking 6 months ago and l have pictures of what it looks like 6 months after the so called repair was done.l have done nothing wrong here,l hired Cooper Roofing because l thought they stood behind their work.

  As to who paid for the roof repair is not the issue here.l signed a disclosure l would not discuss why the partail payment came from another person.

  Iam prepared to take this before a judge if need be.Cooper Roofing did not repair the roof properly and chose not to come back to the work site 6months later!To see why the roof still leaked.Please someone explain to me,why Cooper Roofing is not responsible for the damage caused by 6 months of rain in my daughter's room.l have a monthly break  down  of the amount of rain fall we had each month. Since the so called repair and it's not light.As l said l will take this to court l have allready spoke to a lawyer. I strongly believe Cooper Roofing is responsible for the damage caused by their neglect.

  **** paid for a specific amount of repair work to be completed in this roof based on his quotation. The work quoted was completed. 

  At NO ADDITIONAL COST, Cooper Roofing is going to seal the entire 5 seams above the bedroom as discussed and already AGREED to on site. No additional damages were discussed or agreed upon because **** bought this building with an existing roof leak in this area that had existing damages.

  Cooper Roofing stands by its previous response to complete additional repairs on this roof AT NO COST to **** and include those repairs in our 5-year warranty on repairs completed (Not the entire roof)

  If **** would like to discuss an entire roof system solution, we will re-engage him on our Complete roof coating system with a 10-year warrant on the ENTIRE ROOF AREA. There will be additional costs for this work.

  I am rejecting this response because:The roof was not repaired! I called and left messages l have documented it all.lt took over 6 months before anybody came to look at the SAME LEAK I HIRED THEM TO FIX.I HAVE DATED PICTURES TO SHOW THE LEAKS IN MY DAUGHTER'S ROOM IN MAY AND IN OCTOBER.That alone will show the leak was never repaired.lts not leaking in a different spot it's the same leak.**** l have Givin you the opportunity to fix and repair the damage caused by your company's neglect.l paid extra at closing with my lawyer to help me with problems like this.She feels l have a very strong case.

  I had to reassure my daughter every night it rained she was not going get wet,swept away, drown.

  It was a bad time for us and Nobody would come and see why the room still leaked.l am no.longer repeating myself.lf **** feels they fixed the job and it's a new leak that not true.l will be calling my lawyer today and l will get the papers drawn up.We will see what a judge will decide.
