Unreliable. Say will show up at a certain time, but came early and refused to wait even though the time had been confirmed. Rebooked and then they didn’t show at all with no phone call or follow up. Wasted 2 half days without pay for non dependable service.

I had a very troubling experience with BC Care Heating Services Ltd. The heat in one room was not working properly so I called them to come over and identify the problem. *** came over and took a look at the boiler and after less than 2 minutes looking at it he then told me his advice was for me to purchase a brand new boiler AND hot water tank and that this would cost over $15,000. He did not examine the boiler for more than 2 minutes, did not advise me what the problem was or even could have been, did not check the house to see if it may be a thermostat issue - he did nothing except try to sell me a new boiler and tank. I told him I needed a second opinion, and got one from another technician the same day who took his time to go through the boiler to diagnose the issue which turned out to be a zone pump issue and also no batteries in the thermostat. This technician fixed the issue for less than $500, and did so within one hour. He also advised me that he was aware of BC Care Heating and said it has no idea what it is doing and basically just tries to sell you new products as it has very little knowledge of how to fix broken products. This was certainly bourne out by my experience. I would advise anyone using this company to get a second opinion prior to following any advice to purchase a new product from them, or not use them at all.

** Care Heating Services replaced our broken 68-yr-old gas furnace, replaced our 8-yr-old hotwater heater with a tankless system, and cleaned our air ducts. Thank you for the great installation service and advice from professional, friendly, knowledgeable salesperson and technicians. Also thank you ****** and *** for your great customer service and prompt responses to all my questions. So nice having a energy-efficient quiet furnace that gives out even heating.It's also comforting to know that they are an insured, bonded licenced BBB A+ credited business, and a member of the FortisBC Trade Ally Network in good standing.

Thank you BC Care and Heating Ltd. We had a boiler fitted and pipe work done. Mike and Ali did a great job. They were very caring and professional. They answered all our questions and gave the best advice. There was no pressure to get anything done. We are very pleased with the work it was an job!! Wish we could give 10 stars!! We will definitely recommend to all our family and friends!!

Best heating service company I have come across. Technicians, Mike and Alli replaced my water tank and furnace with such expertise. They were on time, courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient. They went way above their call of duty to teach me what I needed to know about the operation of each unit and even registered the products for me. They made sure everything was working perfectly before they left and they did an excellent job cleaning up. The company receptionists were also very courteous and they answered the phone and my questions very promptly. (When does that ever happen these days?) Great company with well trained and courteous technicians and staff. I have recommended them to all my friends.
