    They sold me cable internet, charged me same day (before providing service) for deposit, first month (even though it was even active yet) + modem and router rental. I got a call a week later that they couldnt provide the service. No mention of refunding me, I had to call customer service for this, and they stated it will take 14 days to refund me after I return the modem and router. Absolutely ridiculous that theyre so eager to charge for something before even confirming they could provide the service and then hold my money hostage for two weeks. Would not recommend.

    Very much a 'you get what you pay for' company. Used them for a few months, service was spotty then went down entirely. They have none of their own technicians so need to rely upon **** techs and are at the bottom of the barrel for service speed. Took 8 days to get a technician in to look at the problem and then he couldn't figure it out. Couldn't wait another 8 days so cancelled and moved business to ****. LightSpeed had the audacity to charge a cancellation fee despite not providing the service they were paid to provide for over a week. Not worth the small amount of savings you get vs the big names. 0/10.

    They charge a $75 activation fee. They want you to rent their crappy modem for $3 a month. Other internet providers don't charge for a modem. They want first month and last month fees in advance. The customer service is horrible.

    I decided to add my review today (May, 25 2023) as I'm being continually harassed by this foolish and I allege, "criminal organization." On April 24, 2023 I sent the following email to Lightspeed. "I terminated my service "verbally" some months ago by a phone call to your "accounts receivable" department. Why are you still sending me bills?My wife and I found your service and business practices to be significantly "fraudulent". This fact is echoed by several former customers in the enclosed Better Business Bureau Review. (Our experiences were very similar to those of the other reviewers).Should I be harassed by any further bills I'll have no other option but to take legal action in the form of a civil suit wherein I'll *** for costs, general and punitive damages." Our email was ignored and today, (May 25, 2023) we received another bill for services they are not even providing. We've had a new internet service provider since March of this year. ***THIS IS LIGHTSPEEDS FINAL WARNING!*** I'M A RETIRED SENIOR ATTORNEY WHO SPECIALIZED IN CIVIL LITIGATION FOR over 35 YEARS. I WOULD RELISH THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPOSE THESE PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE IN ****************. STAY TUNED!

    Local provider *********** was bought out by lightspeed. Service became extremely slow after they took over. I pay for 10mbps speed is now only delivering 1 or 2 mbps sometimes less. After 15 years Time to find a new provider.

    I haven't even gotten services yet. They want 125 up front to activate and then they give you the run around and won't return the money. They don't even check and see if your area is serviceable first. **** ********* *** ** *** *** **** *** ** ** **** **** ****** **** **** *** ******* ****** ***** ****** ******** I'm having to send back equipment now because they aren't able to even give services and they probably won't even send the money back.
