            Contacted ***** Davis Davis Deck & Rail Ltd. Sept 26, 2023 Came to my residence to see what work was required to place existing deck railing then emailed a quote Oct. 1,2 2023 for $7,820. requesting $3,910. to buy supplies before he would start work. I etransf monies Oct 4 $2400. & Oct 10 $1510. Nov 9, 2023 he worked from 1130hr to 1500hr removed glass and boards. This was last time he did any work. Many texts exchanged saying he was coming with many excuses for why he did not show. March 11, 2023 I sent a text requesting he return my money and he replied "I can, I just have to return the rails once I do that and get the money back I'll etransfer the money minus the taken down rails and removing deck boards. I sent numerous texts asking him to refund my money with no response. April 5, 2024 I sent a text saying it has been 1 month (4 weeks) and please return my money. He replied with exact same text as March 11th. I am not sure what options I have available and I need my money back as I had to hire another contractor to complete the work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

            Hired him to install a ******* glass railing on a front deck. Terms were 50% down payment and balance due on completion of work. Deposit was paid in good faith. Work was never completed. Repeated text messages, e-mails and phone calls were ignored. By ******, encountered him in person and politely asked for the deposit to be refunded. He made up several excuses, promised to follow-up, and then walked away with a smirk on his face. Never heard from him again. Have never experienced such a lack of honesty and integrity from a contractor. My advice: Stay Away.
