We made our first payment deposit for total of $10,972 July 12, 2022 for our cabinet order. We were told they would arrive in 14 weeks. They arrived in my home Nov 15th 2022 and to present day, job is not complete.-I have been asking for a digital image printout of what my Kitchen is going to look like and what is going where-size of cabinets, as well as a detailed invoice- explanation of the charges of what's included : garbage inserts, magic corner, handles etc since the time we were going to order, He still will not give one to me to this present day .I also received different price invoices. it has changed at least 3X now as I keep getting charged for fixing his mistakes from measuring incorrectly. He keeps telling me it is because I keep changing things. we have to change things because I receive the wrong size layout and the wrong cabinets!-He never did a final walk through with me as to what we are ordering and sizes etc the only information/papers I have received to present are * a very basic generic invoice with "installed and delivered" and "installed and delivered Quartz countertops" prices on it - NO date, No Invoice #, * only 1 digital view of one angle of my future kitchen look (Facing- pantry wall)* a texted picture of a screenshot of the installer plans of my kitchen Once arrival of cabinets to my home -the island was found to be measured incorrectly (too long) and had ****" base cabinets and ****" base cabinet. I believed i ordered a 36" 3 drawer cabinet and a 24" 4 drawer bank cabinet. Now at this time I was then told this company doesn't make a 36" wide. We settled on two 30" -3 drawer base cabinets and he said I would have to wait until Jan to get the metal drawers and April to get the dove tail drawers (to match the rest of my kitchen I ordered) settled on the metal as I didn't want to have my kitchen not finished until April BUT now he also wants me to pay for part of these cabinets! not the ones I was expecting, I am settling for different and not matching all for his incorrect communication and incorrect measurements -the peninsula was also measured incorrectly - was too short he forgot from last measurement, I believe, when he took out the magic corner about the 15" cupboard. Now he is charging me for the 15" base cabinet because he said it wasn't in quote (because of incorrect measurement?)-the wall of the fridge and stove overall was measured incorrectly, therefore, A.) no room for enclosed cabinet for spice rack . He left the spice rack open with no barrier wall from spices and oils etc. to oven wall, B,) fridge cavity box opening not adequate for air space requirements on fridge sides. He tried to come back and fix but now wall board is visibly bowed on one side of fridge and drawers in pantry (pantry on other side of fridge) having difficulty rolling because of out of alignment -Pantry doesn't go all the way to the back wall like shown in only one digital PC view picture I received. He said if I wanted it forward like the picture, 4"void boxes would have to be built behind the pantry and cabinet above fridge and no other way unless i wanted to pay for custom. I was never told that in the beginning. I told him my last quote was to be built to the back and he said he could beat his quote and do the same. Again, at time of installing, I now am told all base cabinets are only 24" deep and there is no other way unless I pay extra for custom but now it is too late!- same with my 33" base corner cupboards they are also 4" in on each side - losing more space. He said that is the way they build them now ( had a couple different installers in and they have told me they can come in both ways, with full back to have the room inside , or this way. it is a choice usually. Wasn't given the choice nor the knowledge of knowing I could possible get any different. - spice rack is difficult to use. I explained to him when ordering that I am re doing this kitchen to help with my disabilities, one being bending over. He said this spice rack would be good for that -not- I have to bend to see what is in the spice bottles as the top is covered with a board and a slider which looks unfinished. He said that is the way they come the Owner has finally agreed to not charge us for the void boxes behind the pantry and upper cabinet above fridge, he is taking back the spice rack, but not letting me know what he is replacing it with, he wants me to pay for 1/2 of the 2 -" w3 drawer cabinets on the island that will have metal sides , not dove tail. and all I can see is that my Kitchen is not all how I imagined it would be and I have to wait for unfinished, not leveled, a lot of wasted space and not really utilizable like I need and reason why I did this reno to begin with.we gave him as he requested another 40% of a total of *********. Total now paid to Bargoon is $21,851.47

Due to closing off jobs for the Christmas Holidays, I will be responding to this complaint on Saturday December 24th.

      Business response

      03/01/2023

First and foremost I want to stress my company and every person within it dedicated to customer service and exceeding the customers expectation at every point of contact.

The premise of BargoonCabinets.com is to utilize my many years of experience in the cabinetry business to deliver uncompromising quality with unparalleled service at a highly affordable price. I have been in the cabinetry business since graduating from university in Peterborough, Ontario in 1996. I have worked in the cabinet business as s sales representative for *** Industries for 3 years, dealer sales manager for ********* for 7 years, operations manager for ******** ********* for 10 years, vice president of dealer sales for ********* ******** for 2 years, I started BargoonCabinets.com in November 2018 and have been the sole owner since that date.

On ****** my company and its staff have a 4.7 star rating with over 24 5 star reviews and only a couple of poor reviews from people who have never actually bought cabinetry from the store.

The product we sell is produced by ********* cabinets out of ************** **, they have been in business for over 50 years producing high quality cabinetry at a very reasonable price. They make fairly standardized kitchen cabinetry that is very similar to most of the other cabinetry I have sold subscribing to common standards of construction.

****** came by my showroom shopping for a kitchen for her home, she was upfront and told me she was price shopping and was going to go to several other shops to get pricing.

1.) ****** has said the way the corner base cabinets are produced is not space efficient because they are built to allow for non square corners and plumbing pipe pass throughs at the back of the cabinetry. This is not the case at all and is common in the industry, I have a corner cabinet on display in my showroom and because the countertop is on you cannot really see how it is built.

2.) ****** claims her island is built differently than the one she was sold, that is not the case as she had ordered and received 2 x 24 drawer banks and 1 x 21 full height door cabinet. Based upon her fridge being quite large we accommodated her request to reduce its width by substituting a 12 cabinet for the 21 cabinet. We did this at her request. She claims we originally had said there would be a 36 drawer bank and 24 drawer bank. A 36 drawer bank has never been manufactured by my supplier so maybe she is confusing it with another supplier she looked at. Because her mixing bowls did not fit the way she wanted to, we have now ordered 2 x 30 pot and pan drawer banks to accommodate her. We have credited her back for the 21 cabinet she originally ordered, the 12 cabinet we replaced it with, and are only asking her to pay 50% of the two replacement cabinets.

3.) On her peninsula which she changed and shortened at my check measure (we check measure to make sure the design will fit and that customer is aware of what they are getting). We go through a 3D rendering at that point and any adjustments to design will result in either a reduction or increase in cost in ******* case things were shortened and the cost went down a bit. Post installation ****** wanted the peninsula enlarged to give her more storage space, we did this and brought another 15 cabinet to site and installed it, this meant adjusting the peninsula size customizing some cabinets in our shop and uninstalling and reinstalling. She said she was agreeing to an increase in cost however only wanted to pay for the new cabinet and added quartz size, nothing else, again we accommodated that absorbing cost.

4.) The return wall on her stove side was far out of plumb, the filler beside her pantry went from 1/2 to well over an 1, unfortunately this meant we had to eliminate a panel to the left of her spice rack. I have this spice rack on display in my showroom and I feel that she looked at it but I cannot be 100% certain. Upon seeing the spice rack she said it did not meet her needs as she wanted to be able to look down upon her spices from above in this one all spices are visible from the side. She now states she does not want to have the spice rack we ordered and installed for her but would rather we custom make it for her or source something else. Again she wants us do this for zero cost to her. Her pantry and fridge cabinet are an industry standard 24 1/2 depth. Her fridge being very deep meant she wanted us to provide her with options pulling the cabinets forward and installing a deeper fridge panel. Again, this is after things were installed, we advised her we could make a void box behind her pantry and her fridge but it would cost her $150 x 2 and we would provide a new free panel to replace the one she got. She agreed to this over the phone. However after some thought she did not want to pay for this so we gave her a good will credit of $300. We had standard roll out shelves built for her pantry, she changed her mind over and over on these. They are a standard 20 deep which is not right to the back of the pantry. They are the only size I can order for my supplier, they are the same depth as the drawers, which is standard for most cabinet manufacturers. So at this point have built 2 drawers added two more on and had her return all of them at no charge to her.

6.) We have a 33 wide cabinet installed above her fridge, her fridge specification says it is 32 3/4 wide. I got a call from ****** saying the fridge doe not fit. It does fit. Her fridge specification states it needs 1/8 of space on either side of it and 1 inch at the back and 2 above it. It fits all of these specifications. I have googled fridge clearance specs and the first thing that comes up is just spacing at the back and above. I went to her house on that being said I have had two installers try to adjust to make sure she has 1/8 on either side which as long as her fridge being made to specification should be there. Again I am customer focused trying to accommodate her wants and needs at every juncture.

5.) We designed her wall cabinets to the right of the stove to be easily accessible and give more room to people standing on the living room side of the peninsula. This was clear on her paperwork, but she said she needed to think about whether she was happy with that sending our installer home incurring more cost on my side. She came in complaining about the time installation was taking when it was her pausing, stopping, changing, thinking about the installation that was causing most of the delays. I have had to have 4 separate installers attend to her job, customize, reinstall cabinets etc. All of these are costs I have solely borne. I paid extra to have installers come in on the weekend, rush to her house and get bits and pieces agreed upon done.

Prior to ****** sending this complaint to the BBB I received an e-mail from ****** stating she did not want to pay for most of the changes she initiated and some of which she had agreed to. She stated if I did not do this she would potentially write a poor review and go to the BBB. I said her approach seemed quite confrontational and that would be more than happy to work through any reasonable requests she had. She sent her husband in and we worked through every point with me giving most of her requests at my cost. Then after we did that I get a message from her on December 14th stating Morning Wanted to give you a heads up so you arent surprised when you get the phone call, I contacted the BBB  to help us come to settle our disagreements etc and get this kitchen done.  I am finding it is just getting more difficult for only us two to fix it. I cant just get used to it, losing all that space, and just buy new bowls to fix my problem, so to speak. I am sure my kitchen ( or me) is driving you mad just as much as it is me. It has been over a month and no resolution.  It is affecting my stress level, therefore health and that is the main reason why I contacted them to hopefully rectify this problem. I texted her back the following, as I had already received the complaint the prior day I received an e-mail from them yesterday. So this text while appreciated is a bit late. I too have tried to be accommodating with all of the changes and back and forth on this. I will reevaluate where we stand and take the appropriate actions. I want you to get everything you want but not at my total expense, that is unfair, I was under the impression we were both working to this common goal. I need to send ***** there to look at the pantry and the issues you told me you had on the phone yesterday, when can I do this? I will now need to respond to the BBB with all of my appropriate documentation on your job and my side of the story.

On our sales agreement that she has been e-mailed it clearly states all sales are final and all cabinets are custom ordered to meet her design specifications. We have accommodated her many during and post sales alterations and requests. I have told her my desire for her customer satisfaction is paramount, but I cannot run a business where the customer can change their mind continuously during installation expecting me to absorb all of the costs associated with these changes. Her words by text were We do not expect you to pay total expense for our kitchen. Yes that would be unfair. But that still implies she may be ok with me paying for all the changes.

I have all of the details of additional cost associated with this kitchen. I have waved most of them and have documented all of that.

      Customer response

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

In Response to the Business' Letter
We do not accept the response written by ************************* with Bargoon Cabinets because he continuously explains how he, "being customer focused", kept absorbing costs due to me changing my mind.  The information and circumstances he provided are incorrect.  Never in the letter did he own up to his own mistakes of measuring incorrectly. All this could have been avoided and I could have been happy with my dream Kitchen if he did what he stated in his letter ("we do a check measure to make sure the design will fit and that customer is aware of what they are getting. We go through a 3D rendering at that point and any adjustments to design...). We never did go through a 3D imaging and verification of design together. I gave my deposit so he could come do a final measure (he had done a previous measure when the wall was still in ) and be able to put the order in. Like stated in my complaint, I continuously requested for paperwork of these 3D images and a detailed receipt so I could go through and see what I would be getting and if everything was correct.  Still to present day, I only receive a basic invoice/Quote sheet of total balance, what deposit I have put down, and what is outstanding.
We went with him as he stated he could beat competitors pricing giving me what they could and more because he could provide us with quartz countertops instead of Meganite countertops. He beat them. (Quote showing in image 176jpg attached in original complaint)  What we didn't realize until the start of installation is him breaking his promise, having to live with an unfinished home to this present day and dealing with all this stress. If he would have told us we could not get the same cabinets as other competitors, we would not have gone with his company.

The following are my responses as to why I do not accept his response.  I have numbered the paragraphs just as he presented in his letter for easy reference as to which area of his letter I am writing about.

1.)   I did not claim as such as he stated.  All I knew is what I had, what I received, and how much inside space of the cupboard we lost (4" on either side of the back of the cabinet).  I was told it would be the same size (33") as my last corner base cupboards.Once I saw the difference in size, I viewed my families and some of my friends'33" corner cabinets.  They weren't small as the ones installed in my kitchen and looked like my previous corner cabinets. We have renovated a kitchen in one of our previous homes and they also had more inside space than what I received from Bargoon Cabinets. Lastly,I enquired at Home Building stores to see if this is the "common size" and was informed that this was not "common size" in industry. There are two sizes, one that does allow for plumbing pipe to pass thru the back and one not if there is no plumbing to hide, basically finding out my Kitchen would have needed one of each. The corner cabinet of the peninsula did not need one to hide any plumbing pipes and could have had what I expected in a 33" base cabinet, utilizing the space I had in my kitchen.  If the company that he deals with did not have this option, he should have made us aware of this as it takes away a lot of storage space and would have given us the option of ordering a different cabinet.
This problem also arose with our pantry. When I came into the house to get something ( I was out in my shop because it was suggested to not be there when the installers were working as they hate it when customers are around when they are working)  I noticed the installer setting up the pantry and cabinet on top of fridge against the wall ( it was not installed already as his letter stated). Installing it against the wall would have had the fridge stand out alone ****" from the cabinets looking totally out of place. Attached is a photo of the pantry and the cabinet above the fridge installed flush with the fridge like the view shown in attached image 182jpg in original complaint. This is the view and what we were lead to believe and what we wanted. We never were told that it would only be 24"in depth. He informs me too late again,  that to keep the same depth that I had, to the back of the wall, I would have had to order a custom built and therefore, they built a  4" void box behind for rigidity and strength for the cabinet and pantry to be attached to have the cabinets come flush with the fridge.  I am still not happy with the pantry.  I stated so back then at the time to correct the matter before installation. I felt pressured to make the decision right away when we spoke because he informed me that he pays the installers by the hour and he is waiting for what he needs to do. He said that altering the pantry to have the 30" Depth inside space could not be done. Therefore, feeling like I had no choice at that moment. They made the void boxes.
****** consistently claims our fridge is quite large. It is not.  It is a standard size 33" fridge (**** cu ft-32 3/4"x 69 7/8" x35 1/2")  He has stated to me before that he probably quoted for a counter depth size fridge but never admitted that in his letter.
He is correct when stating that a corner cabinet is not on display in his showroom and that we could not see how it was built. We ******************, like ****** for his expertise in the cabinetry business and years of working with consumers to help understand the changes in size or differences that *** occur with the ordering of new cabinets.  He did see what I had for cabinets. I did tell him the previous owner made them and that they are not box cabinets. I also showed him drawers and cupboards of what I did and didn't want in my future dream kitchen that I was going to order from him.

      2. Post installation, ****** claims I ordered 2 24' drawer banks and 1 21" full height door base cabinet = 69" length island.  I did not order this. All my paperwork consistently states I wanted a 36"  three bank of drawers and a 24" four bank of drawers = 60"length island. He claims I ordered this by showing me the installer's blueprint of my kitchen, not from a customer friendly invoice or 3D image of my kitchen like promised. I asked one of his installers if this blueprint is basically for them and not for the customer and he stated that is correct. I also noticed the main installer (*****) was using that diagram for installing them.
While installation was in progress, *****, his installer, stopped and notified ****** and us of a mistake. The minimum allotted requirements between the Kitchen Island and the fridge was way off. The Minimum requirements are 42". This would only have left under 30" of allotted space. This is the reason of the ordering of the 2 x 30" 3  pot and pan drawer bank cabinets = 60" in length.  It is because he could not provide us with a 36" 3 pot and pan drawer bank. (A 36" pot and pan and a 24"  4 drawer bank would have =60" like I believed we ordered.)  They did not do these changes at my request. They had to do these changes to correct the wrong measurement in the length of the island.
In regards to "we accommodated her request to reduce its width by substituting a 12" is incorrect as I have proof of a text from the installer sending a picture of the island and stating "****** wanted me to ask what you thought of this?" (Image of text attached to this reply) ****** broke down a cabinet that they had in his shop into a 12" cabinet and set it between the two 24" bank of drawers to fix the min space requirement problem. When I stated I do not like this idea because I need drawers, he asked us to live with it over the weekend and see what we thought.
After the weekend, my husband and I went into Bargoon Cabinets to work on resolutions because we couldn't have the island this way and still wanted what I believed I ordered.I explained I needed the 4 bank of drawers as this would only leave me with 3 drawers in my entire kitchen because one is taken for cutlery. As well as the Island 3 bank of drawers were not wide enough to fit what I intended to put in there like my Tupperware and bowls etc. He replied "Well, buy new mixing bowls.  Wouldn't that be way cheaper than buying new cabinets to fit your bowls?" In regard to him stating  that "because my mixing bowls do not fit the way I want them to, we now ordered 2 x 30" drawer banks", is totally bogus.  I take great offence to this comment once again.  I did not want to change things.  I wanted what I believe I ordered.  This change had to be done because of taking incorrect measurements. It was at this time when I was informed that we could not get a 36" base cabinet of drawers (I believed my cutlery/pot and pan bank of 3 drawers were to be 36" as well but is a 30").  The mention of my "bowls" was merely an example of why I ordered 36". We were pressured to compromise with two 30" because that would = 60" Length of space allotted to fit for Island, not 69" like he had originally. We were also informed when ordering these 30" cabinets that to have them be dove tail to match the rest of your kitchen, we would have to wait until April 2023 to get our Kitchen complete, and if ordered the metal side drawers, would only have to wait until beginning of Jan to get installed (which to present still hasn't arrived).  For his mistake we are pressured and compromised with the metal sided drawers as we have been living with an unfinished kitchen from Oct 15th, 2022 to present day. He is not owning up to his mistake and correcting the problem at hand. We do not feel we have to pay for new cabinetry when we didn't receive the correct ones in the first place.
I do not understand why we should pay more and for a professionals mistake. I believe when a professional, who highly knows his job, makes mistakes, it is their responsibility for fixing it.  In this situation, he is not fixing it, he added a cupboard and now isn't putting in a pull out drawer as agreed, and we are supposed to put up with it for the long run?  That is not very professional.  With us paying for the 15" and the extra quartz (He assumed we wanted a 28" depth quartz countertop, we wanted a 30". We found this out from the quartz installer when he came to measure and was luckily able to change it on time), we believe was more than being fair.
Basically, changes occurred once the installer informed ****** and us of measurements not adding up right with the island.  This ended up disrupting all measurements with the Kitchen.  I did not keep changing my mind, like he stated in his letter. Things had to change because of miscalculations.
Again, if he would have went over the details, like promised, with a digital 3D image to confirm everything as with a detailed receipt (as like requested many times), this almost definitely would have prevented a lot of these incorrect measurements and the ordering of wrong cabinetry.

3.Regarding my Peninsula, we did change it as we decided to take out a wall (otherwise we wouldn't have had a peninsula) I believe he is confusing when we had a quote previously done from him when the wall was in. Because of him beating other businesses, like stated above, we called him to come again and measure once the wall was taken out so we could proceed with giving him a deposit and get our order in.  As he stated that he "goes through a 3D rendering at this point and any adjustments to design"...That never happened!  I never saw a full 3D diagram of what my kitchen will look like and we never went through my kitchen at time of measurement to look and make sure we were ordering the correct  cabinet sizes  and/or do any adjustments etc. This was not done with either the first measurement quote when the wall was in or the final measurement. Maybe he is confusing me with another customer.
***** also mentioned that the Peninsula appears too short and made a suggestion by moving the 21" cabinet from the Island to the Peninsula. He stated it would look better if the peninsula were longer because as is, it looks too short.  My husband and I totally agreed.  It didn't look right, like something was missing.  The peninsula, left as it was would have only been a 3ft jet out from the inside corner.  We thought we were to have a 15" base cupboard beside the corner cupboard already but ****** told us it wasnt in the quote. We agreed to pay for the extra 15" even though we thought this was also a mistake in measurement, not because I wanted more storage space like ****** stated in his letter.
I do not understand what he means when he states "She changed and shortened at my check measure" We never went through the cabinets and did a proper "check measure". It is incorrect when he also states in his letter "this meant adjusting the peninsula size customizing some cabinets in our shop and uninstalling and reinstalling" because they did not move anything in my home.  Nothing was fully installed yet.  They did take the 21" cabinet to their shop and fabricated it to a 15", ordered a door front for it and brought the 15" back to my home and installed it beside the 3 drawer bank to lengthen it. I believed in the ordered plans a 15" was to be beside the corner cabinet and then my 30" (or as I thought 36") bank of drawers.****** had a 15" for the magic corner and then a base of 3 bank drawers (another reason for why I wanted a detailed invoice. I was not sure if it was in this invoice or another previous quote). Having the cupboard on the end and not right after the corner cabinet is a big problem when opening the dishwasher to put items away.

      4. The main reason for renovating our kitchen is because of my disabilities, one being eliminating the need of bending down/over.  He suggested this spice rack as he explained the original one I wanted would not be stable and wouldn't last long.  He knew of the reason for renovating my kitchen. Yes he is correct when stating "upon seeing the spice rack she said it did not meet her needs as she wanted to be able to look down upon her spices from above".  He knew this from the start.  Eliminating a panel to the left of her spice rack meant having the spice rack not being enclosed in a cabinet ( as suggested by manufacturer) and leaving my spices and oils open to the side of the oven.  It is proven that this breaks down the fragrance and strength of the oil and herbs as well as the stability in the long run of the spice rack as well.  This should never have been installed in the first place and a 5" spice rack should have been ordered at that time (I'm no professional installer but helped by presenting him with a model# of a 5" from same company that he ordered this 6" from and that could fit with it properly enclosed and having jars visible from the top.  To present I still have the 6" installed with no door and open to side of oven. The wall he is mentioning, another installer he had questioned why the previous installer had it so far away from the wall like we did.  The void box he mentions, I explained in paragraph #1.  The side panel along with the void boxes, if measured correctly would have been no extra cost to him and therefore, feel no cost to me to fix his mistake.

      5. I never received any paper work to see how my upper cupboards would have been inset  8" from  the bottom of  the countertop. I did not send ***** home as he was installing many things in the kitchen.  I asked him if he was going to put up that one cupboard and he said he didn't have to as it is nearing the end of the day for him to go anyways. He finished up other items and said he had to come back anyways to continue so I thinking about it wouldn't be a problem. I did ask him if I was setting him back and he said I wasn't. There were no delays in regards to this cupboard. That is totally incorrect.   Yes, he is correct with having 4 different installers attend to my job and it is not because of the reasons he claims.  The main installer had holidays and then ended up with Covid.  Also talking with his installers I asked them " does it always take this widespread of time to install a kitchen for people " they responded with "****** has us doing multiple jobs at once and it becomes quite confusing and busy sometimes" and "When it comes to companies like London Drugs, he moves residential homes and fits businesses' in to keep them happy as they are a big business" I understand that but would appreciate honesty and to not put the blame on me with what he has written.
      6. ****** states, "It does fit" and then states "I had two installers try to adjust to make sure she has 1/8" on either side" only reiterates that no, it does not fit. When pulling the fridge out, there was white on the sides of the fridge wall from scraping the support wall.  One installer who came to try and create some clearance seen the support wall touching the fridge and not having at least a 1/8 clearance.  It states in my fridge manual (brand new fridge) the clearances needed for warranty.  I do not care what ****** claims for clearance specs as they are not the ones who will hold my warranty.  The installer had to remove a wedge and tighten a screw to get some 1/8" clearance on the sides now leaving a bow in the support wall and leaving the pull-out drawers not moving freely in the pantry.  This is definitely not trying to accommodate my want and needs.  He didn't come over on his own and be customer focused but merely came because i asked him to come see what is all wrong in the kitchen etc.
****** is correct in saying I sent him an e-mail (dated Nov 30th).  This was my last resort in trying to still resolve this kitchen issue. There was no hurry or efforts made in contacting us with trying to resolve these issues. My husband and I were getting frustrated with the length of time living in disarray. But the main reason for this e-mail was when I received a phone call from *********************** stating they revised the bill and now it is up to $25,890.06!  We started at agreeing with the quote of $22,084.28!  I asked her to send me the bill and she did -again, with no details and very vague.  I did not hear back from him until I did send him that text, being up front and letting him know that I contacted BBB.  Yes, my husband did go in and talk to him but still no results (proven as the kitchen is still unfinished) only result was a bigger bill.
In conclusion, the business' response is not satisfactory to us.  We would like to have our kitchen completed as we were led to believe as it stands now, we have cupboards that we did not order, cupboards in the wrong place, accusations said on me that are not true, and an unfinished kitchen with a whole bunch of stress. We want it fixed as promised to us by...

1.)  Our pantry and cupboard above the fridge adjusted to the inside depth of 30" and when adjusting, hopefully moved over so the board can fit to enclose the spice pull out.  If the board can't fit like promised, then we will settle with the 5"model # that we presented to him (the same company that the 6" spice pull out came from) to make it possible to fit the board to enclose the pull out properly.

2.) Regarding the peninsula, have the proper corner cabinet (without the inset back wall to hide the plumbing), setting the 15" base cabinet next to it and then the 30" bank of drawers. If his manufacturer that he deals with doesn't make them, as we were told after installation, we will pay the difference for the magic corner cabinet that his manufacturer does make. This provides the proper length of the peninsula as he had in a quote.  I believe this is where his over site in measurement came in and why the 15"had to be added later. This would also correct having the 15" next to the corner base, then the 30" 3 bank of drawers at the end and correct the problem for the dishwasher. Consumers hire professional cabinet dealers for their expertise to prevent this from happening.  If proper corner cabinet can be put in, switch the 15" next to the corner and have the 30" at the end because of the dishwasher problem. As well as we will settle with the pull-out drawer in the 15" cupboard to make up for not having the 36" drawer that we thought we ordered

I cannot see a resolution come forth without the help of a mediator etc. as this has been ongoing since Oct 15, 2022
