Credex financial is rediculously difficult to talk to and impossible to resolve anything. My health care card was not active when I went to the emergency room. I received a phone call about my bill. I called and had my healthcare card back dated the start date to allow the emergency room visit to be paid. They backdated it so all the bills would be paid. I called the guy back the same day and said its ok they have backdated my bill his response was I have already sent it to collections and theirs nothing I can do. Months later I still have credex financial on my credit report. i called them she will not work with me in any way I said he can rebill me for it and it will go through and told her about the previous agent I spoke with. She said that was a credex employee I was speaking with he said he would inform the doctor she is now saying they cannot and I must pay the bill to them. The doctor related to my multiple emergency room visits was sadistic he screwed me over caused me physical pain and laughed about it and refused to test my skin samples from the area I had problems with he seen my x rays and laughed when he had the nurses bend my arm in a way it was not supposed to bend because I had a bone fragment in the joint. He seen the x rays and knew and laughed. When I had surgery they noticed a **** on my chest which was from the skin irritation I had for the entire year prior because he would not have me tested. Now credex financial wont even give me the doctors name so I can contact him and have the bill payed but yet thats the only way I can pay it other than directly giving them money. It took one year for my surgery without pay, vet bills for m dogs skin problems which came as a result. My new career is dependant on my credit score.

**************** had 2 dates of service, September 10, 2022 and April 29, 2023 for which he did not have valid MSP coverage, invoices were sent to him by the doctor's billing company which he did not reply to. They continued to check for MSP coverage on the 2022 visit until August 2023 and the 2023 visit up to March 2024. His accounts were subsequently assigned for collection in August 2023 and March 2024 as he still did not have valid insurance. A notice of debt assignment was sent to him September 2023 to which no reply was received and only after several subsequent telephone messages did we speak with him in November 2023 at which time he promised to make payment which never materialized. ****** and written contact was made with him again in April 2024 when the second account was assigned at which time he claimed that his MSP coverage had been backdated however as the 90 day deadline for re-submission had long since lapsed he was told it was unlikely that it could be submitted to them for payment and he could pay the account and seek reimbursement from MSP which he refused to do.

**************** contacted our office again in June 2024 and insisted that his MSP coverage had now been backdated at which time we contacted the creditor and they confirmed his coverage was finally valid and advised us that they would bill the charges to MSP under a special code.

It is possible that Equifax isn't matching our upload to his credit file so we would suggest he contact them and request they do a debt verification to ensure that they update his credit file accordingly as we are unfortunately only able to report information to Equifax via data transfer or in response to a consumer driven debt verification request.

I am not liable for this debt with Credex financial. I do not have a contract with Credex financials. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested.

Emails and texts were sent to ************** 06.17.2020, 08.24.2020, and 01.18.2021 informing him of the debt, we then spoke with him on 01.18.2021 where he informed us that he had received the invoice from the original creditor, was aware of the debt and thought that ******************* had paid it (which they didn't), we then emailed him details of the outstanding account with payment instructions as he requested which he didn't respond to. After this numerous messages were left for him with no response and a final text message with account details requesting payment which he also did not respond to.

I was visiting my daughter ********************************* in ********** in 2020 from ********* and was taken ill on 4 Oct at night. Went to emergency around 11pm and was admitted after midnight from 5 to 7 Oct. I received a very high **** of over $16,000 for 2 nights plus $1,100 for emergency assistance. Was told that Government has instructed to charge foreigners highest rate. Bills was sent and fully paid. Suddenly in March 2023 my daughter received a letter from Credex collection agency claiming that I owe his client ********************** $1,211.10 plus accrued interest of $711.13 totalling $1,922.23. Its a very intimidating request. My daughter has never received any such **** in the mail before nor any 1st, 2nd or 3rd warning. I left ****** in Dec 20 and returned in Dec 22 to end of Feb 23. During this time no such claim or invoice was ever mailed to us. I wrote to the hospital to a ************************ on 30 March explaining the above and asked if this doctor's **** were included in the hospital ****. So far no response. I would like BBB to investigate this for me and find out why after 2 1/2 years without prior warning. Its a huge **** to pay and my insurance carrier will not cover claims that are over 2 years old. Why was the doctor's **** not included in the hodpital ****? I find this to be dishonest and insulting to foreigners who are law abiding citizens of their respective countries. Thank you so much for your follow up on this issue for me. I am 66 years and retired. I cannot afford being treated this way by doctors who do not follow standard procedure. Kind regards

      Dear ****************,

Our involvement in this matter only recently started and we act only for *********************** and have no knowledge of charges relating to the hospital or other service providers, nor would ***************

From the information we received invoices were sent to the address provided on ************ in ********** to which ************** did not receive a response.

As a bit of background, fees for medical services provided are charged at **** non-resident rates as is noted at the hospital and are payable on the date of service unless alternate medical insurance has been accepted by the physician.

We would be more than happy to discuss interest relief and acceptable payment terms and would ask that you contact our office at your earliest convenience.

As part of this company's services I received a cheque **** ** ***** in the amount of $1,370.00 dated March 17, 2022 and since I had a disagreement with the way this company handled the service I did not deposit the cheque hoping that we would be able to find a resolution. In htre end this company never care to resolve the issue and when I finally decided to deposit the cheque in January 4, 2023 the cheque bounced and of course I got charged by a fee of$7.00 by my bank.

The consumer waited over 6 months before he deposited our cheque, it was accordingly returned as being stale dated by our financial institution and a replacement cheque was subsequently issued to him at no charge. It was the consumer's responsibility to deposit the cheque within the 6 month limitation period and we will not be paying for his bank charges as they were a result of his negligence.

This client assigned an account for collection on January 31, 2022 and since that date we have had several communications with them including January 31, 2022, February 3,
February 10, February 14, February 20, February 24, 2022 when we received a request to close the account and March 2, 2022.
Pursuant to the terms of our Assignment Agreement accounts are not eligible for closure within 180 days of assignment or if we have made payment arrangements with the debtor and as both exclusions applied in this case we declined to do so.
After the account was assigned, the debtor provided us with conflicting documents (Promissory Note and Bill of Sale) duly executed and witnessed by our client which significantly contradicted the amount that was claimed to be owing and although we were provided with a letter from the client stating that these documents were a forgery the debtor maintained their position that they were correct and has subsequently paid the undisputed portion of the debt.
These funds were collected in February and March 2022 and will be remitted to our client as required under Provincial legislation.
As we are unable to continue collecting the disputed portion of the account until such time as our client has obtained a court order proving the remaining balance is in fact owing we have put a hold on further collection action until this has been provided.
As communicated to our client it was recommended that they consult independent legal advice.
Should they wish to pursue alternate avenues of recovery for the disputed portion of $3020.00 we would be pleased to waive the cancellation clause in our agreement and close the account as requested after the recovered funds have been dispersed.
