WORST COMPANY EVER. POORLY BUILT,AND MOTOR CONTROLLER AND BATTERYS BLOW OUT QUICKLY. THEY WILL NOT SERVICE OR SELL YOU PARTS IF YOU BOUGHT THE BIKE USED. SO NO WAY TO REPAIR THE BIKE PROPERLY. THE BATTERYS ARE POORLY BUILT AND HAVE A NUT THAT GOES LOOSE IN THE BATTERY CREATING SHORT AND POSSIBLE SERIOUS HOUSE FIRE! THEIR BATTERYS ARE LIKE A TICKING TIME BOMB TO BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN.

My ebike arrived in perfect condition and went together easily. I've been riding it non stop and it's performance is stellar. It's a good bike at a reasonable price but it's not top of the line.

Beware, do not spend a single dollar at this place. They are unhelpful and most importantly insensitive to the problems caused by their products.I am telling you the the frame of the bike which I spent over $2300 on which is a small fortune for me broke right in the middle of the road, now they keep saying its misused, I mean the steal frame broke off, what is it, I was trying to with it with an axe so it broke?,I am going consumer courts to fight this thing out becuase of the whole cold-blooded behaviour the workers here have had.I mean what is the service there for then than not to stand behind the product and service it when things happen?

Unfortunately, this customer misused the product by raising the seat post far beyond its minimum insertion point, which is clearly marked on the seat post itself. Our Warranty Policy does not cover breakage due to misuse, but we did provide the customer with an option to replace the frame at his expense.

Just did not get time to reply back. This business is a scam, as they are a scam they will surely be insensitive when you come up with issues, just wait until you have an issue and go to them when the bike is under warranty, the bikes are put together with cheap material, the material is so easily broken that all the welding busniesses in ******* have denied accepting to have the broken part welded. I tried to file a claim and in ** while I am here in ******* so you pay first to even have your case looked at, the amount of time and money and anxiety caused by this company is insane and legendary. I only thing good that has come out of it is that I have not directly died from this accident created by Rize Bikes, avoid every single time, I only rode the bike for less than a month. Replace the frame at my expense by paying a huge amount to something that already cost me a fortune. If you are not in ********* you can't even talk to these people in person when things do not work out for you. Talk about stealing in broad daylight and get away with it too.

I would not reccomend buying a bike from Rize. My son purchased a $6,000 bike from them 8 months ago. Within a month, he had problems with it. He was unable to get his money back. He required significant work to be done it. They sent parts but no instruction or help to repair it. He was told to find a bike repair shop and pay for it himself. There are no electric bike shops near us. The unused bike sits in our garage. One of the worst purchases anyone in our family has ever made.

Hi *****, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Rize Bikes. We offered to have the work completed at a local bike shop or attempt the repair yourself with the provided tools and video instructions. We attempted to reach out to you on multiple occasions and we ultimately had to close the warranty claim as we did not receive a reply for more than 3-months. Should you wish to move forward with the repairs, we would be more than happy to assist you.

We would like the bike repaired. Are you able to recommend a bike repair shop in Kitchener-Waterloo? My son was unable to find any bike shops this area.

Avid cyclist and proficient bike mechanic on all my bikes. Rize RX is 3rd e-bike I have in my fleet. After scrutinized research, this ride should have fit the bill, but came up short.Out-of-the-box engineering design issues with single guard front chain ring flying off countless times (wedging between Bafang mid-drive motor and chain ring - stranded on ride several times). BTW, good luck learning how to get that chain unstuck, specialty tools required, $50 chain replacement required, down time . . . so disappointing and completely frustrating.Out-of-the-box this bike has not been able to hit ********! Tuned-up countless times. Had local **********, ** specialty E-************ center try tuning it up, they were mind boggled.Replaced front chain ring, rear 9-speed cassette, upgraded new rear Shimano XT derailleur, new shifting cable . . . nothing works. Drive train still won't hit ********.Just bought new rear drop out hanger and specialty hanger alignment tool, if that doesn't fix this . . . the bike a a proven LEMON and boat anchor not worth the $3600 invested (spare *********************** Two years of working thru this, zero confidence on rides with this bike.Rize factory service center is non-existent . ********************* is *** and offer zero solutions or support.Completely dissatisfied with this purchase, lots of e-bike social forums complaining of identical issues with this bike model.NOTE: the only due diligence I failed was to check for "Dual Chain Ring Guard". Both of my other two e-bikes have dual chain ring guards, all I research have almost all e-bikes have dual chain ring guards, every e-bike I look at riding on the road have dual chain ring guars. The Rize RX Pro has a dual chain ring guard. Why on Earth didn't Rize Engineers implement dual chain ring guard on Rize RX model? Baffled.Overall, disappointed and dissatisfied with this high cost purchase. it is truly a LEMON! Caveat Emptor e-riders!Respectfully . . .

The Rize ***** I bought is a dud and the customer service is ************. First,I received my bike with a defective LCD display. Rize thought it might be a controller issue, and sent me a controller in the box with a video on how to replace it--but Rize would not cover the labour to have it done by a mechanic. There was the option of a complicated procedure, which included removing a part with a warning that removing it would void the battery’s guarantee. I decided to not even attempt it, so I was riding with a faulty LCD display where the odometer and speedometer did not work at all. I used the ****** app on my phone for this purpose. Considering it was a new, never-ridden bike, I would have expected the repair to be covered. Second, within the first week of biking, the crank arm bolts kept loosening. I had to pull over and tighten them every 15 minutes. A mechanic fixed them with proper torque and loctite. I’m The biggest problem: after three months of riding (commuting to work on a good smooth road, and I'm a light guy), the back wheel rim broke at the weld. I brought it to a mechanic, who told me it was an obvious factory manufacturing defect, and that any reputable company would cover such an obvious defect. Otherwise, it would cost around 300$ to rebuild the wheel. He also told me it was dangerous to have been riding and I could have been seriously injured. Unfortunately I was not dealing with a reputable company. Upon emailing Rize with photo documentation, they did not respond for 9 days. After this ridiculously long wait, I received an email saying they would send a rim but would not cover the cost to rebuild the wheel. A rim costs $50-100, but the rebuilding costs around 300$. This is totally unacceptable. On top of this, the battery does not last anywhere near their stated mileage, unless on their lowest setting. I was getting around 35km while mostly on the fourth setting. Rize customer service obviously lacks any *********.

Terrible after sale service, they ship the bike missing crucial parts that make it operational. Bike came with leaky tires, still no resolution.

Sad to say but so far I can't give them a good review as I bought my bike last week, it arrived in two days but they forgot to include pedals, made me send them pictures of the box as if I was lying and then they didn't send me the pedals next day. Now it's Saturday and still no pedals have arrived. I feel they may just not care about customers. I haven't even received an apology. I don't even know if the bike works because I can't tell without pedals to try it out. Even more sad after reading all the bad reviews on Rize Bikes. Here's hoping I can give a better review once the pedals arrive.

Rize Bikes delivered my new bicycle with numerous damages, such as two spokes busted out of the rim, headlight crushed against the fork, back wheels tube flat (with cause tbd), internal battery lock broken, scratches and considering the strength of the impacts the bicycle was subjected to, possibly other damages to the hub motor and battery that I don’t know yet. Their response is to send me replacement parts for what I can prove being completely broken and a touch up paint for the gauges and scratches. They refuse to send me a new bicycle and will charge 25% of the value to take this back. Rize Bikes. ****** *** **** ** **** **** **** ********
