    Ordered a Standing Desk from Best Buy and their Online Marketplace. Ordered 2nd November 2024 Vendor was Motion Grey, out of ************Was promised shipping in 2-3 days, via ****** 8 days later, ***** site shows Label Created every day.Attempts to contact Motion Grey failed, as did repeated messages. Reviews online show that Motion Grey has continued problems with shipping.Contacted Best Buy for help and refund, but they just link to Motion Grey messaging, which Id already tried.This is False and Misleading advertising in Tort Law, and will not go unchallenged.

    The buisness promised to have my desk and chair shipped in two buisness days. This hasn't been done and the progress is still pending. Upon review of the BBB and reviews online, it appears that this is a trend with Motion Grey through best buys third party market place. I require my desk and chair as promised and have reached out to the seller without response or resolution. I require a immediate refund or immediate shipment with a tracking number so I get my desk and chair on them before the holidays.

    1. **Misleading Information on the Website**: When placing my order on August 25th 2024, the product was listed as available, with free shipping in 3-7 business days, which aligned with the shipping policy that states delivery within 2-5 business days. There was no mention of a "pre-order" anywhere on the product page, shipping policy, or in my order confirmation. Based on this, my order should have been processed by August 26th and delivered to *************** by September 3rd.2. **Unexpected Delay**: Despite the clear delivery information, I was informed that my order would not be processed until September 5th, which is unacceptable. Furthermore, I later noticed that the delivery estimate had been changed to October 21st without any prior notice or explanation. This delay is not only unprofessional but also highly frustrating.3. **Request for Cancellation and Refund**: On September 5th, I requested to cancel my order and process a refund immediately. Despite that, I have received a notification from them stated that the item has been shipped and on the way delivering to my residential address, and I need to drop it off for return once received the parcel. After dropped off the parcel for return, I received confirmation that the parcel had been returned to them, and Canpars proof of delivery shows it was received by "***" at Motiongrey on September 16th at 11:02 AM. Despite this, I was informed that you still had not received the parcel and my refund has not been processed.

    We sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your refund. Upon reviewing the return label, we noticed that it still shows "Label Created" only. This could mean that the package hasn't been handed over to the courier yet or that the courier may have missed scanning the package. Unfortunately, this issue has caused a delay in refunding your order.

    We understand that you have already returned the item, and to rectify this, we have processed a full refund, which should be credited to your account within 2-5 business days. We will handle the matter with the courier directly.

    Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and truly appreciate your understanding. We look forward to serving you better on your next office furniture purchase.

    I’d like to raise a couple of issues: 1. False advertisement - Company website states order will arrive 5-7 days and that its warehouses in Vancouver and Toronto have readily available stock inventory. I have waited over a month for my order. I would have ordered from another company if the order needed to wait for this long. 2. Failure compensation promise - Client Support Team offered to compensate for the delivery delay with an upgraded chair wheels. However, it was not received alongside with the delivery. 3. Major product quality issues - The “new chair” was found with numerous defects, dirt, and issues as showed in the photos. The quality issues are beyond acceptable quality. 4. Refund policy - Company website said customer needs to pay for the shipping cost if refunding the product. With such product with unreasonable quality issues, the company would incur additional charges on its customer? Overall, very bad customer experience especially for a first-time customer. I need a full refund for the product with no extra cost for my shipping cost returning to the company.

    I ordered a standing desk and chair on June 6th with a shipping hold until I got possession of my new house on June 21st. The website clearly indicates transit time to eastern provinces 5-7 days. My concerns are as follows: -the shipping hold was lifted late on June 24th -1 of 3 boxes was delivered July 6th, tracking numbers for the other 2 boxes were not provided. I got them from the carrier who said the label had been created but the items were not shipped -I called for an update, left a voicemail and never got a call back -called again on July 7th. Was told they would look into it and email me an update. No update was ever received. -the chair arrived July 12th, hardware was missing. I contacted customer service and they disconnected the chat but eventually committed to sending more hardware and looking into the desk top Where things stand: -I am waiting for an update on the desk top which has not yet shipped. -I am now waiting on the hardware for the chair. Overall this has been very frustrating. The company is slow to respond, overall not very helpful or assuming responsibility for what is going on... Blaming the carrier even though the items were incomplete or did not even ship. I ordered these items over a month ago. These are items I am relying on to do my job. What I am hoping for: -express shipping of the desk top and chair hardware and a commitment from the company to improve their processes and customer service.
