      Carpet Centre installed blinds in our townhouse incorrectly: the slats are warped and the ladder strings are loose, with the result that the blinds are unacceptably unsightly and are ineffective, in that they allow light in. THey do not open properly - the bent slats interfere with the undamaged slats. The slats were fine when first installed in Aug 2021, but on Sept 6, 2021 the installer, Bill, returned to apply clips in the vallance and in so doing, damaged the slats by bending them. He was standing on the top of the ladder, leaning against the blinds, clattering the slats together and I believe that is how he caused them to bend. I was watching him work and immediately told him the slats were damaged: he said he could not see it. I called the office and spoke to Darren who advised, contrary to my immediate experience, that the blinds don't bend! I reiterated my concern, and he said he would have to talk to Bill, and suggested that I leave the blinds to see if they straighten out in the heat of the sun. They have not. On or about Oct 5, I called Darren - he said he would try to talk to Bill that week. I have yet to hear from him. On Nov 4, 2021 ** ******** ***** emailed The Carpet Centre, attaching photos of the damaged blinds, and .cc'd me, and asked that they respond directly to me. I have yet to hear back from them. On Nov 8, 2021 Darren P***** responded to my ******** that they would come get the blind and have it fixed or replaced and that they would contact me "ASAP." He did not. On Dec 15, 2021 ** ******** ***** emailed Darren again, and .cc'd me, indicating that nobody had responded to the concern yet. My desired resolution is to have the blinds replaced ASAP.

      The original installer has been instructed to go back and remove the blind  in question and take back to the blind factory .

      They will either fix or replace the blind in question ( this could take 4-6 weeks as I understand in correspondence with the blind factory )

      I have explained to them that this has been going on for quite sometime 

      Due to holiday season I'm not sure if my installer is in town but I did leave him a message
