    On March 17, 2023 I received a quote from Flat Roof Repair in the amount of $10,694.25 to do several repairs on my roof. In April I decided to proceed with the work and gave them a cheque in the amount of $5,694.25 to get the work started. To the best of my knowledge the work was completed in May and I paid them the balance of $5,000. In June I had a leak in my ensuite bathroom skylight. I called Flat Roofing and ****, the owner, came out to assess. I was told there was a nail in the roof, and this was the cause of the leak so they did another repair for another $200. Then again in November I had a leak in the same area and **** came out again and stated that it was an insulation issue and that I needed to have the ceiling in my bathroom cutout and have insulation put in. He offered no other solution, even though on the original quote it states there is a 10 year warranty on repaired areas. He left and I was stuck with a leak in my ceiling. I then called another roofing company - ****** Roofing and they came out to assess the situation. They stated the skylight was leaking so they covered the skylight, and I paid them another $367.50 to cover the skylight and deal with it the following spring. They also told me that the repairs I had just had done were an issue and there was bubbling again in the fresh repairs. This is a torch on roof and that was the reason for the original repairs, was to fix the bubbling in the original roof. Its now time for me to replace the skylight so Ive had ************* come today, being April 26, 2024. He gave me a quote to replace the skylight, but he also stated that the repairs that Flat Roofing did, have bubbles ( as stated by ****** Roofing), and needs repair again, and as this is warrantied Flat Roofing should be fixing it. I should not have to pay and additional $533.40 to fix this again, as ************* have quoted. What good is a Ten year Warranty if Flat Roofing wont honour it? I will pay for the cost of the new skylight, but I want the repairs done to the roof that are supposed to be warrantied. Can you please HELP
