      I hired Marks Roofing as a sub contractor for a project. The roof they installed failed and subsequently caused MAJOR damage to the interior of a brand new home. * *** ** ********** **** ****** ********* *** *** ******* ** *** ************ *** *** ***** ** *** ******** Marks roofing went dark and did not warranty their work. I was forced to hire another roofing company to repair all areas of poor workmanship that caused the flood of the home. After numerous attempts to discuss this with the owner Sukhi I have been unsuccessful.I feel consumers need to be aware of such poor workmanship and lack of warranty. I can provide all documentation however the files are too large to upload. The entire process has been documented including all notes and pictures.

      We went right away after getting call from ***** there is roof issues and solved that.Before doing the roof i have warn them already it can be a roof issue while it snow and that happened.But then after damage happen they repaired some stuff inside the house and i met ***** on this where he wants me to pay for this damage and i told them this is always goes builder’s insurance but he doesn’t want go through that.As i talk to my insurance as well but they denied as we told ***** roof can leak through the area we mention to *****.

      The poor workmanship was outlined in the attached roofing inspection. EDIT the roofing inspection is 10MB and will not upload. Please advise as to where I can email it to.

      Sukhi was away ** ***** and directed me to engage a third party to repair and remediate all damages. He promised he would either put it through his insurance or pay out of pocket.

      Mark’s Roofing Ltd. did not deliver what they promised when we signed the contract. The workers which were sent to do my roof install did not have the knowledge of how to install the roof properly including roof underlay, roof metal flashings, wall flashings, roof ridge and roof valleys. In addition they have also caused damage to existing gutters. They have also bought mostly wrong material. After numerous notices and warnings to correct the issues I had to fire them after the roof leaked on 4 spots and caused water damage to the house interior walls, insulation and electrical smart switches. I had to quickly find another roofing company to complete the job before the snow started as Mark’s roofing clearly demonstrated ************ to complete the job. Mark’s Roofing LTD missed all the deadlines and their owner Sukh just kept giving me falls promises. The new roofing company had to redo the roof completely as they have discovered additional issues and they were not able to use lot of the material purchased by Mark’s roofing as it wasn’t right fit for the job. Now Mark’s Roofing is trying to charge for the work which they didn’t do and they have filed a lien against my house. The owner Sukh has sent unannounced stuff member to my house to take pictures around and to try to intimidate my family and to ask for cash payment. I have reported this to ****. I have made him a fair offer which still covers the costs which they initially inquired but what they are asking for me to pay is unjust as I had to pay a new roofing company to redo the roof which they charged more as they had to fix Mark’s roofing mistakes and take down everything that they attempted to do with metal panels.       we did his roof and he didn’t paid us.Amount he is offering way less than what we spend oh his property and not acceptable.So we put lien on his house.and now he is making excuses
