Hi ****,
Each time a customer applies with us they are clearly presented with a disclosure that asks for consent for Canada Drives, car dealers and lenders to obtain credit reports to facilitate their application for a car loan. Customers are unable to continue without confirming that they consent to this.
With Canada Drives we help you get pre-approved for financing first, so you can shop with confidence knowing exactly what you can afford. Once you complete our online application you will be connected with a local dealership who will show you vehicles you already qualify for, saving you time and avoiding the stress of traditional car shopping.

Well, yes I will admit I should have been more diligent in reading all the small print but typically a company asks for your info so they can call you to discuss your options and if you would like to proceed. Not force you to proceed to access. I have decided since my credit was already hit to see what you can offer and am working with one of your **** to see. She has been quite diligent in my regard, I am very demanding on what I would like. I will alter my review accordingly following. Yes it is my fault for not reading the small print, but I do feel that it is not right to expect people to apply prior to being able to view inventory and basically inquire. Thank you.Review fromSarah S

Dear *****,
We regret to hear about your recent experience with us. Our appraisal engine provides an initial estimated value for a vehicle then once in contact with the customer, our agents go into more detail reviewing the vehicle's condition and confirm a price that they expect they can transact on the vehicle. This process takes into consideration any new information learned about the vehicle, as well as additional research we complete on market conditions for that specific vehicle. It is pertinent to mention that we rely on esteemed resources such as the Canadian Black Book to aid in our valuation assessments.
I've looked further into your concern and it does not appear that you spoke to one of our agents, so I would assume you are speaking specifically of the initial appraisal engine. If you were interested in speaking directly to an agent to get a full appraisal of your vehicle, just let us know and we can definitely make that happen!

It seems when you asked to be removed from the contact list, you may have been speaking to our dealer partner and not Canada Drives. Our dealer partner has said that you asked to be put on the do not contact list and that they have added you.
I do not have any calls or texts where you requested to be removed from the contact list with Canada Drives, but I have ensured that you are on the Do Not Contact list with us.
Please let me know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you.

1 starI bought a car from them I was promised that I would have it in 5 to 7 days were now past the 7 days and I still don't have the car. I have repair loans on my old car and they promised me that they would be paid out and today the repair loans are still being pulled from my account 2 weeks later they won't tell me when they are refunding this money and they can't seem to tell me when I'm getting my car. Their now trying to say the end of the month is a busy time. That's no excuse for them not to do what they promised in the first place they won't even tell me when my payment is supposed to start on the new car that I don't even have yet. I've got payments bouncing from my bank account because these people can't give me a straight answer about what's going on and when I'll get my money back. This has been my worst experience buying a car from anywhere. It's constant messages that are ignored and a run around from them. The contract I signed is from car city in ****** *******Review fromAmy F

1 starThe WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I was SO excited to receive the 2021 ****** Rogue I purchased from Canada Drives in Jan 2024. When it was delivered to me, I opened all the doors to check it out but when I opened the trunk, A WATERFALL OF WATER poured out the handles and even the inside seams of the trunk hatch door! In hindsight, I should have refused it right then and their but the driver contacted my salesperson and I was assured everything would be taken care of. It took hours of back and forth and MONTHS to get the issue finally fixed. I received a letter from the **** *****************************, shortly after purchasing the car, reminding me of all my responsibilities to be eligible for coverage under the extended warrantee I purchased for the vehicle. WHAT ABOUT THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES?! I was promised a car that was safe, detailed and road ready. Someone may have given the interior a little swiffering but NO ONE DID ANY CHECKS ON THIS CAR BEFORE IT WAS GIVEN TO ME. I just took the car in for it's first oil change since the purchase and the bill was $641.00!! 5 different services had NEVER BEEN conducted on the car. Services that were supposed to have happened at 25000KMs on my vehicle that has 85002KMs, HAD NEVER BEEN DONE. I am frustrated, exhausted and feel completely SHAMMED.Review fromRaymond S

Dishonest company practices and rude sales representative. They lure you in with a so-called instant online offer, and massively lowball you on the phone. The sales representative ***** will tell you to sell privately when you disagree with the lowball. If you are selling your car, don't waste your time with this company/person.Canada Drives Ltd

Dear *******,We regret to hear about your recent experience with us. We would like to clarify that the appraisal process *** involve adjustments from the initial offer, particularly as our evaluations are conducted without physical inspection of the vehicles. Our appraisal engine provides an estimated value, but once in contact with the customer, our agents review the ********************'s condition and confirm a price that they expect they can transact on the vehicle. This process takes into consideration any new information learned about the vehicle, as well as additional research we complete on market conditions for that specific vehicle. It is pertinent to mention that we rely on esteemed resources such as the Canadian Black Book to aid in our valuation assessments.Upon further review of the information pertaining to your vehicle, we regrettably cannot justify the value you had anticipated. In such instances, opting for a private sale often proves to be the most viable course of action. In many cases, we are able to honor the original quote, but we are at the mercy of what the market clearing price is.Thank you for your understanding.Review fromDavid S

Hi *****, The mileage on your unit was higher than average for the year at 247,000 kms so it needed a manual appraisal, which was made clear on our website and unfortunately due to this reason we couldn't support the value you wanted.Review fromGregory M

5 starsSold my ******* to Canada Drives, an excellent experience and would recommend them to friends and family.Found them on line, entered my vehicle VIN and was quickly given an offer. Spoke to **** (great guy) he reviewed a number of points on the vehicle and asked me to send a series of photos, including pointing out any damage to the vehicle. An email arrived shortly after our conversation detailing what they were looking for. Completed the photos,**** called me back to review photos and damage, revised the offer down to reflect the damage repairs. Offer was still acceptable and agreed to sell. Provided **** with some documentation and he advised he would get back to me.Received a docu-sign bill of sale from ***, completed it and arranged an appointment to drop the car off. ***** was the technician completing the final inspection which involved a test drive, OBD scan and a visual inspection. ***** found everything in order as I had advised and accepted the vehicle.Remainder of documentation completed and cash was in my bank account within 12 hours. An excellent easy process, price was fair for the vehicle and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and up front in explaining the process. If you are selling your vehicle this is a great option, better than Kijiji or marketplace in you don't have to deal with test drives, certification of the vehicle and just dealing with people trying to buy your car.
