If i had a choice I would stay away from blue cross. For an example; They are the only insurance company that I know of that does not cover treatment by an Osteopath. Same for treatments by a Kinesiologist. I have prescription for this from my ** as I had a bad break in elbow. To me it looks like just a rip off, as with their dental, they cover on my plan 70%, but there is wording in there that looks like your yearly maximum is $2000, so even if you used right up to the maximum every year, i don't think you would cover the cost of your premium. I'm trying right now to submit a claim which they said that i did not send a scan of the drug receipt. I did, it didnt get through to them i guess, and every time i try to resubmit I only get a notification that this has already been submitted, you cannot resubmit. But they still wont pay it after a year of this. To even send your complaint, even though you are logged in and they know exactly who you are, you still have to find every # applicable to your membership, the #'s of the prescription. I admit that this has gotten the better of me every time I have tried to complain as I don't have 1/2 an hour to waste which they know.

I've been waiting four months for my claim to be processed and I'm still waiting. This is the worst benefits provider when it comes to customer satisfaction. Every time I call to find out why it's taking so long I'm told that I just have to wait because they are "behind"....but four months so far?!! Come on. I've give less than one star if I could, but I'm sure Blue Cross doesn't care either way. There's no oversight with that company.

The new submission re online receipts is just not acceptable. Had to do it twice. After 6 weeks I was told the receipt did not attach to the submission. Was told I would not have to get back in line but would be fast tracked. Submitted again and checked that they received the receipt. Yes, but processing time is up to another 30 days.no fast track. Its really unfortunate that this is what our insurance coverage has come to.

Pacific Blue Cross NEEDS to change their POLICES. the **** that they DENEY people who are on Disability-though income assistance. ANY ACCESS to speak to a representative, or file a complaint is BEYOND RIDICULOUS, and completely WRONG. When the claim involves ***** ***** have to wait OVER a month for a clim to be approved (for things like new glasses while having GLAUCOMA with the start of vision loss).

Not good. I submitted a claim over a month ago and was told that they don't know when it will be assigned to someone to process. They are not doing anything about this, just telling people the processing times are longer. I find the customer service very poor whenever I call them. Would not recommend.

I wish I could. Give no stars! I put in receipts. They never reimburse me they are very rude and the agents are bullying and harrass you when trying to get claims settled. They are the worst company to deal with in ** . They need to be under review for privacy and policy concerns . They share your information without your consent . Ask questions that have nothing to do with your claims . They need to all be fired . There customer service and policy's are only to benefit them .there are loop holes. So they don't have to pay. Your privacy is a commodity to them that they share with everyone. Financial and medical. This is not acceptable

Company has done nothing to take ownership to resolve the issue., Would not recommend. Quick to sell their products but NO commitment to provide the service. Rating 1 out of 10

I have purchased travel insurance for the last 10 years ,we are spending6 months a year in mexico. This year I had a medical emergency and needed doctor visits and hospital stay.since you have to file a claim within 90 days and they only accept original receipts I had to send it by ups at a cost of approximately 200 dollars (mailservice doesn't work in mexico) After 2 months I inquired about my claim and they told me my claim was processed and denied and they send a letter to my home address. Nobody let me know by email and they know exactly that I'm not home for another 6 weeks When I got home the letter said that they need health history from attending physician. By now it's 4 months and mexico is not very good at keeping records and are not very computerized and I'm sure they are not willing to send the info by ups at 200 dollars (since blue cross only acceps original documents ) They make it so complicated and communication is terrible
