Total disregard for the safety of their tenants. I leased a unit in their DTLA *********** property and had a horrible experience with break ins in the secured package room with packages being stolen from people who break into the building from off the street and break into the package room. Ive had my personal on site storage locker that I rent from them broken into and personal items stolen. They are unethical. They charge tenants a mandatory amenity fee when their Union Lofts property has NO amenities. The fee was also added midway through my lease, the fee was not originally stated, discussed or agreed upon when I signed the lease. The amenity fee allows ********** tenants to use the amenities at their sister property **********, however, not everyone wants to use those amenities and **** refuses to make the fee optional for those who dont want to use another building amenities to opt out. During the pandemic they also charged amenity fees at all of their properties when all amenities were closed (gym, pool, common rooms, rooftops etc.)They will not give you your deposit back and if they do it will take close to a year of you calling them practically begging for them to process it. These people are crooks and criminals getting away with taking advantage of their tenants and Im convinced that all the stolen property that has gone missing are inside jobs and someone that works for the company is giving thieves heads up on when to break in.

Zero regard for resident safety or experience. I would write a long review if I could, but don't have enough characters remaining to do so. Management doesn't care at all about its residents - it's much better to be a hotel guest on one of their properties than to live there. I normally wouldn't give this the time of day, but management refuses to take responsibility for any issues or address any resident concerns (this is after 6 months of voicing problems). Aside from amenities not being in repair and units falling apart, I have witnessed and reported code violations to the city.
