I had called Absolute Roofing to come and repair our skylight that was leaking and inspect the roof. They said that the skylight leak was due to the skylight needing to be changed. We went ahead with this and after the job was done, I noticed it was leaking still. They came back and put on the skylight again and said it was fixed. Yesterday (5/15/2022), there was heavy rainfall it it started leaking again and this time there was a lot of water dripping down (pictures attached). Absolute came and looked at it and said that the membrane underneath the tiles had holes in it and there was a hole under some wood. Greg had said that the first time the guys came out to fix it they should have checked this all but did not so it was their mistake. We had a second issue by our back door and the guys said that the back gutter needed some support put to lift it up so the leak would stop. They did this and again the leak was still there. Greg came again and checked and said that the guys did not look carefully by lifting the tiles up to see what needed to be fixed and also there were some cracked tiles that needed replacing. Greg had to come in and look thoroughly to find the issue. This is unacceptable that we had to have them come back 3 times for the skylight repair and 2 times for the back door leak. This could have been avoided if the initial inspection had been done thoroughly. I have attached the invoices and pictures of the area leaking on 5/15/2022. We contacted the client and our production manager went out to review the work done. The client has a valid complaint. Some work was fixed and we are working to resolve the final outstanding issue to the client's satisfaction.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I am still waiting to be contacted about the final outstanding issue. I was supposed to hear back last Friday but have not received a reply yet. I was going to wait until this Friday to give them time as they said the owner had been out of town last week. Until I hear back I do not agree to resolve this complaint.

Our production manager met with the client last Friday. A refund is being issued for the gutter sloping. We believe the client is happy with this and the issue resolved.Customer response
