    In November 2022, BBB received a scam tracker report about a call coming from someone claiming to work for TELUS.  The consumer received a call about a Senior discount offer and was asked for debit card and driver's license information. TELUS does not ask customers for their full license number or debit card information; however, for verification purposes will ask for the PIN on the account that was set up by the client and if they cannot verify will ask for the last 3 digits of a driver's license to secure the account. If it is a new account, TELUS will require 2 pieces of identification.  Consumers receiving emails from [email protected] are advised to report it to [email protected].

      On May 10 2024 I switched from Telus to ******/**** for my internet tv and phone after the installer had finished the switch I phoned Telus and canceled my internet and tv services they told me that they could not cancel the services until May 16th To this day I don't know why they could not cancel the same day I phoned them but now we move further into the month of May after phone calls of better deals and offers I just said I want to move on from Telus and that I was staying with *******/**** at the end of May I get a bill for internet and tv services for ****** thinking this was the end charges for services Telus asked me to send in the modem and tv boxes that were used when we were with Telus they said we had 60 days to do so on May 22 we did send back the equipment thinking this was the end as well done, so now on June 21st I get another bill for internet and tv ***** for tv and ****** for internet total bill ****** I have phoned the numbers provided all I get is the ** system saying that they are closed or that it can provide me with billing information how can a company this big not have anyone at a call center on a Monday before I could phone any time and talk to a team member no problem this company is very frustrating to deal with once you have moved on from them what I want is for someone at Telus to step up and do some explaining and remove the latest charges and give me a refund from the previous bill is this this too much to ask? today is Monday June 24th 2024 I will look forward to this promised call back on Tuesday the 25th if no call back then we will know this is just another lie from Telus.

      Telus Sales agent had promised a set price for 2 years with no changes. I received a price increase within a few months. I've tried to call and dispute this issue so I can pay my bill. I was transferred to closed departments and hung up on multiple times. When i finally got through, they did not honor my promised pricing.This is wasting hours out of my day. What a terrible experience . I still have not had any contact with a representative to have this issue resolved.
