  I had Nick and his team went for an estimate for roof replacement, give me a very fair price for a 2000 sq ft bungalow. Once we agreed on the deal, he told me we would order my landmark shingles and the next day, it was delivered to my house. The whole roof replacement is finished in a day and a half by him and his competent crew. The job was not rush, the price is very reasonable and he was able to squeeze me in his schedule on very short notice. He personally inspected the whole roof before and after replacement. Nick and his team lead, showed me the roof, and the process that explains the excellent quality of their work. He make honest recommendation on proper solution to roof issues like ice damming, proper venting. His company would not recommend additional work that does not offer any value just for sake of money.   Nick and his team saved my roof this fall when I needed an emergency roof repair and replacement. I knew it was going to be an expensive project and there were businesses I spoke to that were looking to take advantage of that but Nick was realistic and reasonably priced. They were so fast, efficient, professional, friendly and polite. I also have an old, steep roof that had other businesses claiming they needed extra gear/time/bells/whistles but Nick had the experience and knowledge that made very swift work of it. He also made sure he got me in before winter came for which I am incredibly grateful. This company was a relief in a very stressful situation.

  We recently had Gumban Roofing perform a full shingle replacement on our 2200 square foot, two story home. We could not be more happy with the start to finish efforts of Nick and his entire team. Leading up to the job, Nick was readily available to answer any questions or concerns. He, along with his team, were on time, courteous and professional from the moment they showed up until the job was finished. I really appreciated that the owner of the Company (Nick) was on site for the pre-start set up day as well as for the entire job day. His team of 14, worked from 6:30am until the job was COMPLETED that evening at 7:30pm. They worked safely, efficiently, professionally and tirelessly in 30 degree heat. I was beyond impressed with their work ethic and that fact that they completed the job, as promised, in one day. The attention to detail was fantastic and reflected in the final outcome of the job.   I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Gumban Roofing went above and beyond my expectations! I am so pleased with their work which was neat, timely, and most importantly proper. They are honest and hardworking, offered a very competitive price and schedule for my roof to be done. * ***** ********* **** ** ** ******* ******* ******** *** ****** *** ***** ***** **** ****. I had gotten a quote from Nic last month to get my shingles replaced but I forgot to ask him about my soffits/fascia/eavestrough. I requested if I could get another quote and have the work done on the same day we scheduled the shingles to be changed.. this was a week before that day and Nic and his team were very understanding and were able to accommodate my request. The team came early in the day and set up efficiently, neatly, and worked very well together, finishing in the mid afternoon! Other roofing companies that quoted me wanted to tear down my fence and have it replaced at my own cost, or park on my neighbour’s yard to make it easier for them.. however Nic and his team worked around my fence and my plants, and were respectful of my property and my neighbour’s. I also appreciate them for meticulously cleaning my yard of nails and debris from the work that was done.. they left my yard spotless of any mess. Their attention to detail is impeccable. They were able to identify a pipe that was disconnected in my attic and fixed this for me. They also identified that the previous roof that was done had no underlayment! Gumban Roofing was transparent with me and walked me through what they did so that my roof is done properly. Honesty goes a long way and this is a team that holds up to that standard.   Regarding Gumban Roofing, a company registered with the BBB, on August 17th 2023 we had our house roof shingles and house and garage eaves troughs replaced. The work was done by Gumban Roofing (residential specialists). The day was not looking too positive for roofing with rain and windy conditions forecasted. But as promised owner Nick Gumban and his crew showed up at 6:30 AM to do the job. Very slight rain and wind delays did not prevent this team from finishing the job at 7:30 PM. Nick and his crew were very professional, and approachable, in the way the job was handled. Both my wife and I were extremely satisfied with the final result. We have had a few roofers in our time, and we both agreed that Gumban Roofing has been the best company to deal with. As for the cleanup, when finished, it was so well done you would not know anyone was here. ******* * ***** ** ***** ********* ****** ******* ** ****** ******* * ******** *** **** ****** We would give Gumban Roofing a 5 out of 5 stars.   Gumban Roofing- Nic & his team did our roof end of July 2023 and IMHO is one of the best roofers in Winnipeg. Very professional, organized, fair price, attentive to the concerns of home owner, (veggie plants around the house), finished the job in less than a day!, etc. (Even my neighbors talked about how quickly the work was done.) ** *** ** ******* ****** ************

  In August, Gumban Roofing did our garage. We were so impressed that we added on the soffits, fascia and evesthrough. The original plan of repaiting the exterior wall was changed to vinyl siding when GR agreed to do the job in late fall as they are fully booked. It is their Workmanship,Work Ethics and Customer Satisfaction that made me agree to wait. Absolutely worth the wait! I can not emphasize how happy we are with the outcome. Every inch is meticulously measured. Every detailed is well explained. Unknown to many, Gumban can do more than roofing.
