1 starWorst insurance company to deal with. I filed a claim to get a replacement phone, in the contract it says the deductible is $250.00, but after filling out the form, they were charging $315.00 without any explanation or breakdown. On top of that, in their website they were only recommending older models of ******* phones as replacement, I had a ****** Pixel 8 phone. So I called them to ask about the deductible and to let them know I don't want a ******* phone as replacement. The first agent I spoke with was not able to explain the $315 deductible and she told me that they do not have pixel 8 available and that my SP is not allowing to process the request for a pixel 8 pro which was available. So they told me I have to call my SP and ask if I can upgrade my phone early since my contract is almost over. When I spoke to my SP, they confirmed that asurion should be able to fulfill the agreement and that they cannot provide a different make and model as replacement for my phone but they should be able to process the pixel 8 pro instead. I then called asurion back and all of a sudden they are saying they can process the claim and issue a pixel 9 instead but it is in back order and the wait is 3 to 5 business days. I told them I was okay with that. After that, they kept asking me to call them for an update, only to ask me AGAIN if they can process the pixel 9 as a replacement. Everytime they ask me to call, they would tell me that they will process the request for a pixel 9 replacement. So it kept getting delayed and delayed! Until now, no one can explain why they are charging $315 deductible and they haven't processed the request. I paid for the device care for 17 months for nothing.Review fromshubam M

1 star is more even for this i will gave negative star rating dont buy phone from bell or asurion .asurion/**** company just disguisting they are fraud ,they are taking money in form of insurance but when i tried to get claim they denied I purchased a phone from my bill and with the insurance from the *** company that is the assurance, but I had lost my phone like at a place when I had a lunch and they are saying I tell them whole story and tell all the things like I have my find my iPhone on. I just on a low mode on. I did everything, but they they just denied my claim by telling us like there is something like a security reasons, you didn't pass the security and they just denied my claim. I just paid a lot of dollars and paying insurance and now they just denied and I also look out for the reviews from the customers as well, like too many customers. They told me the same thing like a sharon is not giving claims to the customers, so why they are doing like these thing with the customer, they are doing fraud in the form of insurance. They are taking money as insurance premium and they are not giving the claims to the customers when I call to the bell, they told me just go to the insurance company, they can do it for you and when I call to the insurance company insurance company and they told me they don't have any answer for that. As with anything I guess read the fine print. They send a refurbished phone with only 90 days warranty. Very expensive. Long wait times on phone. Was told to have a wonderful day after telling the idiot on the other end that my phone was stolen and now I am paying $600 service fee for a refurbished phone with a 90 day warranty. I thought insurance was suppose to make it right again. This was just pouring salt on an open wound.Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada

Horror story. Bought a **** laptop from ****** with 2 yrs concierge warranty. Laptop had sound issues (popping and static). I ended up sending it to their Toronto repair centre 3 times and they were never able to fix the problem. They tell me their static test were unable to identify a problem, yet they never bothered to listen to the laptop itself, and refused the audio samples I offered to send them. Their product specialist told me that once their static test can't find a problem that's where it ends for them. Buyer beware, never do business with a company with low quality standards like that. I'm surprised that a company like ****** would do business with a sub contractor with such low performance.Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada

Please save your money and don’t purchase their extended warranty. Our tv all of a sudden started having issues. They told us it was accidental damage when it wasn’t. They just don’t want to replace the tv. They said it only covers malfunctions, but won’t cover this malfunction.Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada

Apparently, this company only replaces front screens not the back screens you have to replace the whole phone. It’s a joke. I strongly recommend never using this protection plan.Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada

They have inferior business practices which result in very poor customer service experiences. The chances of your insurance claim being handled with care and discretion are incredibly low judging by my multiple personal experiences with them. Do not bother to pay protection for any appliance with Asurion! They block Canadians from contacting them with no free non-long distance telephone number. When buying through ******.ca, ****** drops your phone call as they do not know anything about Asurion - rude Filipino girls! You only get a receipt from a numbered company and not Asurion Canada with no Terms and this is what I am trying to get and so far no contact! The numbered company is: 75***** ****** ***** **** *** ******* ******** *** *** **** ******, while Asurion is registered for a New Brunswick address. Looks like a total fraudulent company. Let's see what Federal Consumer Protection Minister will do about all this. Nightmare. Not only Asurion, but the companies they contract to perform service. My 85” tv failed about a year and a week after purchase. Called asurion right away then spent weeks trying to get an appointment with a tech - the company could only give me one or two days notice (I asked for an appt a week out and was flat out told no they can’t book that far - yeah, I have a job so that doesn’t work for me)…weeks later arurion called to advise that the tech company cancelled my claim as they were “unable to reach” me. False. Left it for a bit as it was frustrating and mentally draining dealing with them (and again, I have a job…and a life). Reached out again, took their two day appointment, asked for a call before the techs arrived (called to reiterate that the day of the appt). No call, arrived 20 minutes BEFORE the start of the FOUR HOUR window I had to leave open for them. I’m the house for 7 minutes and determined my tv was not repairable. They didn’t even plug it in. Asurion called and told me I’d be getting a refund. I told them I want a replacement. I was transferred to a supervisor, Natalie and naturally the call got disconnected. She left a voicemail saying she’d cal back and hasn’t. Before the call was even made, I had an email saying my refund was done - it’s an e-gift card for *******. For $998.00. You’ve got to be kidding? Like I need $998 to spend at the store that sold me a garbage tv? Hard pass. I want a replacement - and unless the universe has stopped making 85” tv’s, I’m struggling to understand why it can’t be replaced. And if the ONLY option is a refund, it best be in the same form I paid, in my hands immediately, and include the taxes I paid, along with the cost of a van rental, and two handy men to both mount and dismount the tv. Oh, and I called them back this evening - so handy that they’re open 24/7! Except supervisors are apparently only available til 4pm. So I’ll waste another half hour of my life tomorrow.Asurion Consumer Solutions of Canada
