Armoured transport brought things from Sommex Maritimes in new Glasgow and dropped it off to me My mattresses and box springs were destroyed someone during the night who was loading the truck kick the box springs broke the box springs drag the mattresses ripped them open with black marks on the corner the company was extremely unprofessional they hung up on me a few times they said that I had no right to complain as they are not movers and are not responsible for the stuff and I was only offered two dollars per pound for claim and the Mattresses weight 100 pounds so I would get basically $200 for Mattresses that we are costing me over 1500 or $2000 from the supplier in Glasgow When I told him this was unacceptable he said too bad that’s our policy and hung up on me and that includes the regional manager they were extremely rude and unprofessional they even admit an acknowledge that they were the ones that destroyed the mattresses and yet they did not offer to pay for the cost of the bed I even have it on tape that they left the stuff without it being unattended and just called me and said the stock is on your doorstep Which also means anyone could’ve stolen it but mostly they wanted to get out of there because they had damaged the beds I am very upset I also see tons and tons of other reviews on armours transports page that say how unprofessional and rude they are and Rhonda the call centre customer service hung up on me and said we are not movers and we’re not responsible for how the stock shows up but yet they’re transport company and they’re saying that I should’ve put extra insurance on it if I wanted it to be in good health This is completely ridiculous If they damage the stuff and we’re even warned about the potential for damage each Delivery and didn’t do anything to ensure that the goods were delivered on time and without being damaged they should have to pay for the cost of the entire product not just two dollars per pound
