We purchased our residence with my spouse in November 2023. I have requested the company ViewPoint to remove the advertisement for the sale of my house. The house had been already removed months ago from *******.ca. (As soon as it was officially sold) ViewPoint refuses to remove this and I feel this is a complete invasion of our privacy as the new homeowners. I reached out to ViewPoint and they state they can continue posting our property for one year. This seems ridiculous in today’s day and age with so many privacy lapses. Simply I request our property get taken off, but they refuse. If our invasion of privacy continues, I will seek legal avenues and financial compensation. It’s frustrating now that we have been at this residence for Nearly 5 months since we moved in that we cannot get our own privacy. Both myself and my spouse are professionals within the community and our clients have privacy. Yet we asked for privacy in our own home yet we do not get privileged to that because of the previous owners agreement. A previous owners agreement to a website should not trump the rights of the current owners.
