    Went to Coxs Auto on Oct 31 2024 to get my car looked at as I believed it was a possible purge valve.told them when I arrived that I cleared the code as it was having troubles idling in traffic to get the car to the shop but if they needed the code To confirm if it was the purge valve all they had to do is put the car on an incline and idle and it would come back on. Fast forward to picking up my car.They said they replaced the Purge valve. 2 hours after I left the shop The check engine light came back on and the Shop was closed , so I called them first thing Thursday Nov. 1. Explain the situation and the lady said.Well, we just replaced the purge valve.We didn't lock over your car and my response was, I'm not a mechanic.I thought you would double check. She said let me talk to my boss to see what we can do and I'll get back to you.Which they didn't so I call again to get oh I think my boss just came in I will call you back And once again no call back and when I called in the afternoon again they wouldn't answer and the day after no answer. At that point after 5 phone calls I made an appt at ******* **** for the next available on Nov 15, great service, pick up my vehicle could not believe what had happened. They took photos of my purge valve that was replaced by coxs auto As it was left unsafe with not a single clamp attaching any of my hoses going into the purge vale and damage on the hose. Somehow they "forgot" to put any clamps. ******* **** advised me They gave me a copy of the photos as well As wrote a description On my invoice explaining what they found. I have tried to call cox's auto to get no answer and emailed them with a very detailed email explaining my car was left unsafe and that I would like some sort of refund on Monday Nov 18th and again this morning, got one reply J*** ingored anything about the way the car was left,no reply since nov 21 If the hoses had let go on the purge valve while driving it would of not been good and I am lucky they didn't.
