On April 21, 2023 my vehicle was getting a Diesel Particulate Filter warning on the instrument cluster and I brought my 2015 Volkswagen Golf to Alliston Volkswagen. They diagnosed the issue as needing the Diesel Particulate Filter, Diesel Exhaust fluid system, and Crank Position Sensor replaced. They advised that the Diesel Particulate Filter, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid system was covered under warranty but the Crank Position Sensor was not. I advised the Service Manager that the Crank Position Sensor should be covered under warranty but he said it was not so I bought the Crank Position Sensor from their Parts department but they said they were waiting on parts and I would need to leave the car there and they would call me when the part would come in. Fast forward 11 months after the car being at the dealership for that long, I get the car back on March 11th. I drive it home and there is a thumping noise coming from the tires, a whining noise from the wheel bearings, and clunking noise from the suspension most likely from sitting at the dealership for 11 months. I called the dealership and asked them if they had road tested the vehicle and they said yes there was nothing wrong with it so I advised them of the condition they returned the car to me in. The dealer scheduled me an appointment on March 21st. By the time March 20th I called the dealership and advised them to cancel the appointment because I would not be able to make it in on the 21st. The dealership called me on the 21st and they thought I missed the appointment, I said no I cancelled but the service manager must have forgotten so I rescheduled to April 2nd. On April 1st I called the dealership again and advised that I need to cancel this appointment and I would need to reschedule. Now the dealership is refusing to schedule an appointment with to fix the tires, wheel bearings, and what appears to be suspension damage which all are unsafe and was most likely due to sitting at their dealership for 11 months

I would like to provide an update to Complaint #********. On Friday, April 19 I brought my vehicle to Barrie Volkswagen to look over the vehicle. They advised that there were multiple issues with the vehicle including right front backing plate for rotor broken and dragging on wheel, left front lower ball joint loose, both rear springs broken, and the vehicle would need an alignment as well. They advised that Volkswagen of Alliston should not have released the vehicle in this condition as it was not safe to drive. I agreed to having the backing plate, both rear springs replaced, and the alignment service for a total of $1,371.63 including tax. *** ****** ******** *** ****** ******* ********. I would at this point like the Desired Settlement: to be changed from Repair to monetary compensation.
    Thank you,

    ***** *********

I bought a brand new 2024 still under warranty **** from day one I had a problem with the radio I took it to SERVICE for three times they told me that the problem was fixed. The radio does not work. It keeps on coming off and on. I’m getting tired I’m bringing it back to the dealership for the same problem, they said they installed the new radio which is not been installed. The radio still turns on and turns off whenever it wants. How am I supposed to address this issue and get it fixed once and for all the dealership was Volkswagen dealership, Allison Ontario
