      I am writing to bring to your attention on a matter of significant concern regarding the inaccurate information present on my TransUnion credit report, specifically regarding a collection account that has significantly impacted my credit score. Upon reviewing my credit report, I was shocked to discover a collection account listed under my name that is absolutely erroneous and equal to data breach. Also there are some inquiries that i did not concern to. Despite my diligent efforts to rectify the situation, the issue persists, and I am compelled to seek your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

      Trans union credit bureau has somehow merged my profile with someone who i assume is of similar name. This other person opened a ****** **** account for a new cell phone number and somehow it is being reported under my profile and SIN at Transunion. The account is legitimate as I have spent numerous hours on the phone with ****** ****; however, the account is not mine, I did not open this account and should not be reporting under my profile. My primary address is now incorrect and the only way they will change this is for me to send via paper mail a photo copy of my drivers license and passport, 2 very sensitive documents, neither of which I will be sending them. (By sending this info thru mail will not make any changes to the ****** **** account, it will merely update my address to be proper) If Transunion would have verified some information with ****** **** (when i had Transunion launch an investigation as I thought initially it was fraud on my account) such as my DOB and SIN rather than simply asking ****** “Is this a legitimate account”. That was the extent of Transunions investigation, that one simple question to ****** **** and it was sent electronically according to the info ****** **** told me. My proper address is: *** ***** ***** ******* ***** **** ** *** *** My DOB is *** ***** and my last couple digits of my SIN are 2 *** none of which correlates to the account holder of this ****** **** account. The ****** account number in question is *** *** ***. What i want ultimately are two things, first and foremost for this to be removed from my credit report and to have my proper address updated without having to send in sensitive docs via mail.

      I am disputing a Hard inquiry on my Credit Report by the following creditor/institution: ******* ***. According to ******* *** emails dated April 14, 2023, and March 31, 2023, I was pre-approved for a ******* *** ****** **** ******** ********** with a credit limit of $5,000.00. I accepted this offer. I followed their instructions as to how to accept this pre-approval. They provided me with a Reservation Code and Access Code. Pre-approvals do not generate a hard inquiry. This should have been a Soft inquiry as I already have an existing product with them and also based on the fact that I was pre-approved and did not complete a full application. I reached out to ******* *** to correct this error. They have provided me with a letter dated July 18, 2023 confirming that they will remove this Hard Inquiry off of my profile/credit bureau. I called TransUnion several times now and they advised that I needed to deal with ******* *** directly and I have.       I am rejecting this response because I have made several phone calls to TransUnion where their agents have confirmed that the credit check dated April 14, 2023 will be removed. Six months and more later, nothing has been removed. I have provided letters from TransUnion dated June 26, 2023 and September 28, 2023 where TransUnion states that they will correct this inaccurate credit check.

      I also have two letters from ******* ***. The first letter dated July 18, 2023 states that ******* *** will communicate with TransUnion to have this credit check dated April 14, 2023 removed. After months of following up with TransUnion with no removal of that credit check that ******* *** disputed on my behalf, ******* *** also sent me a letter dated September 28, 2023 that there is an error with my credit bureau report and that I need to deal with TransUnion directly.

      My credit score went from 866 - higher than 90% of customers with a TransUnion credit file (Excellent) to 617 - higher than 9% of customers with a TransUnion credit file (Poor) a drop of 249 points, in one month, even though I didn't open or close any accounts, didn't miss any payments, didn't increase or decrease my utilization, etc. NOTHING. There seems to be an error with a **** ******** account, best I can tell, but TransUnion won't give me any straight answers on the phone, and no one is willing to look at the 249 point drop and explain to me why it happened. That's because it's clearly a mistake. They need to figure out what happened, apologize, and fix their mistake.

      A collection error is on my transunion report. It has negatively affected my credit score. ** * ****** ****** **** * ******** *** ****** ***** * ***** ****** **** *********** ******   I can't wait 30 days for them to possibly fix this, it needs to be fixed immediately as I could be at risk of losing my credit cards or affecting my amount of credit. This has to be fixed immediately as it's an error. The collection agency does not have any record of my name etc so please fix this problem before 30 days.

      February 18th 2023, i vacated a appartment for reasons of lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Landlord refused to sublet the place and the same price and I left with notice.       Illegal and fraudulent collection account Original report date: JULY 7 2023 Suite excel collections account number ******** This account does not belong to me as there is no real proof of debt and no real signature of this account to me. This item is deemed to be fraudulent and has been notified to me by creditors and local law enforcement have been envoleved. I am requesting an investigation to the legitametlhy of this account and for the immediate removal of this account. I have sent over 4 letters and multiple online disputes aswell as phone calls to remove this but they refuse to help and cause illegal action against me.

      I’ve been trying for months to get logged into my account and clear a fraud flag that does not allow me to get a new credit card. But no matter how hard I try, I get stymied by endless hold, or them telling me their system is down and to try again later. I have no choice but to try to get the BBB to help. It is unreal how any business could act this way. What I need: 1. To be able to log into my account and clear the fraud alter flag so that I can take out new credit in my name. That is all I need. They claim this verification cannot be done online and that I have to call. But every time I call I get endless hold or “our systems are down and call back later”. PLEASE HELP!
