I hired Summit exterior innovation to fix a leek in my foundation they started the job November 3rd 2022 This included the excavation, demolition of the block foundation, rebuilding the block wall, Waterproofing, backfill with new material, removal of the old materiel including the clay that was removed with the excavation. at first it was supposed to be just a portion of the side wall and the a portion of the back wall witch ended 1ft passed the existing deck. all for $9500 plus taxes. When the excavation was being done ******* told me that the problem was bigger and that the back wall should be fully done into the other side of the house for a total of 9 Ft. added to the original job for this additional 9ft. (excavation + demolition + build wall + waterproofing+ back fill). I accepted to do this job and the price was increased to $19,050 plus taxes for the 1st week he was here every day. after that was on & off. The job was supposed to take 2 weeks and finished by taking over a month, no access to my basement & a wall completely open to the outside with just tarps to close. this cost a lot in hydro. Then he rushed to finish he didn't redo the second side wall he only replaced a couple bricks & only did the waterproofing in the section on the first estimate did not do the 9ft extra (when the snow thawed after the winter the foundation was leaking in that section) Since he finished in December he filled out the hole (with the clay that was supposed to be removed not the new stuff he priced me for in the estimate) &told me he would do the grading in the spring since the earth would compact over the winter & there would be missing filling. I've been trying to reach him in February because he had not put any insulation between the house & wall. ( finished by buying and doing it myself) After I talked to him in march when water was coming in (was supposed to come numerous times and never showed up) Now he doesn't call back or answer. I paid in full
