              I booked via a 3rd party website and I guess Swift Rent a Car was the ultimate service provider. The actual booking was via VIP/******* car rental. Confirmation said cost was $436 inclusive of everything including taxes - this is right in the email. Day before rental I get a ******** message asking questions about how I will insure. I advise that my home province insurance covers me. They then say that there will be a $20/day "transfer fee" for me to use my own insurance. On top of this they said the taxes are not included in the $436 confirmation. The price of the rental basically doubled for my 10 days. I was very irritated on the phone so he asks if I want to cancel. I say I don't know yet because I want to look at other alternatives. He says, that he doesn't want to go ahead with the rental and then proceeds to cancel my booking without my permission...I'm like what??. **** ********* ** ** ******** ********* *** **** **** ** ******** ** ****** *** ** ** ****** **** *** ******* ** **** ******** ***** . I then had to scramble to find another rental one day before my trip. Of course prices have skyrocketed. ****** ******** ***** **** ****** *** **** *** *** *** ******** *** ***** *******
