    In the summer of 2023 I called Aire One to look at my AC at ** ********** *****, Brampton On *** ***unit, the technician assessed that the unit would have to be replaced and offered the option to upgrade the HVAC system to a Heat Pump. He assured me that the Heat Pump would operate quietly in response to my concern for noise. On July 27/2023 I paid Aire One $14,466.26 to install a ******* Heat Pump System. When the system started up the noise in the home was unacceptable, and after my complaint Aire One relocated the Heat Pump mounting from the wall of the building to a free standing pad off of the wall, which improved the noise level in the home. When the system was switched to heating in the early fall of 2023 there was a loud noise and vibration from the heat pump. In response to my complaint a technician visited the home on the third of November, and claimed to find that the balancing weight had fallen off of the fan blade which he re-attached to the blade and this fixed the issue. The next day i spoke with the manager Mario V. to express my concern that re-attaching the weight was technically flawed, and the appropriate action is to submit a claim with ******* to replace Heat Pump for what is clearly a manufacturing defect. His response was to dismiss my opinion and instead had his service manager Jason P. submit a claim with ******* to replace the Fan Blade which has not happened to date. I have been using the gas furnace for heat all winter to escape the noise of the Heat Pump thus loosing out on the saving benefit of the upgraded system, and failing in my environmental stewardship. I would like this Heat Pump to be replaced as the component seems to have supply problems whereas the Heat Pump is readily available from *******.

    Unfortunately, ******* does not replace heat pumps that are noisy. Instead they will provide a replacement part for the part that is noisy. In this case, the part that is noisy is the fan blade and we have ordered that part from *******. We are currently waiting for the part to arrive, and as soon as it does, we will replace it. We understand that the customer is frustrated for having to wait for the part, but so are we at Aireone as we strive to provide the best customer service as possible. It appears that the customer does not appreciate the service we have provided, but as you can see from his message, we have accommodated all of his requests except one (replacing the heat pump which ******* will not do).

    Air One has installed and serviced our furnace, A/C and gas fireplace for many years promptly and efficiently with knowledge and a friendly, helpful attitude

    Their annual Protection Plan for the furnace and A/C has been a very good investment.
