I have been a customer for 10+ years and can highly recommend Superior (was *******) for propane service. I lease my tank from them and they monitor usage and when it’s getting low, they come automatically to refill. I use the Budget Plan where I’m billed monthly instead of a large amount when it’s refilled. Customer Service is professional & courteous. During the recent WNC Hurricane destruction, they made it to the house despite many roads being closed. I have a whole house generator which uses the propane with power outage and have felt confident with Superior service.

******** ******* * I called on October 7 to notify them of a propane smell near the propane tank. I asked if there would be a charge when I was informed that a technician would come to check. I was told no fees because it's a security issue. But now I have an invoice of 496.43$ for changing the regulator. The costs are $75 for the truck, plus travel at $125 plus 30 minutes of work at 125$/hour plus the part (not new but never told me it was not new) at $154.27. I never authorized such a repair at that so high cost ! The technician never told me that it will cost almost 500$ !!! The tank is rented and I was never informed that the regulator belonged to me and that changing it was at my expense. This is not fair and I will change for another propane supplier at soon as the thank will be empty !

I received a bill from Superior Propane stating that I must pay 345 for tank rental. I called and they said this was because I hadn't used much propane in the past months. The house has electric heat but the propane stove is important as a supplement. I would like to report this charge as a simple money grab. They say the only alternative I have to paying this is to have the tank removed.

We have been a long term customer of Superior Propane here in ********, ** and just received a notice that our 420 lb tank rental would be increased from $139.00 in 2023 to $600.00 in 2024. Although our home is heated electrically, our propane fireplace is an emergency backup for power outages in winter. Since we only get two fill-ups a year we are considered to be a low-usage customer. Unfortunately there is no other supplier in our area who rents tanks and delivers propane, so we have no option but to put up with this outrageous price increase. Perhaps we are not as profitable a customers as those who use much greater volumes of gas, but an increase of this magnitude should not be borne alone by low volume users especially when there is no competition or option. ******* *** **** ********** ***** *** ********** **** ******** ****** ** **************** ** ****

***** ******* they sent me a email stating my bill would increase form 189 to 300 because I don’t maintain their minimum amount of orders for the year but won’t tell me when they explained this to me. They also refused to talk to me about this issue.

We have had our annual propane tank rental increased from $182.85/yr to $460.00/yr or a 2.5 x jump in rental fees over the last year with out any notice or reasonable reason. ** *** ******* ** * ***** ****** *** **** this increase reprehensible. We have been good customers for over 20 years, never missing or even being late on the payment of a bill and are shocked by such a large and unreasonable increase> We would hope that Superior Propane could lower our fee by a significant amount and apologize for the trouble and stress it has caused **** ** ** *** ******* **** **********

**** ****** ****** ** **** ******* * **** ** *** *** **** ******* ****** *** **** *** ****** **** ****** ** ***** **** *** ******** **** *** ** ******** **** ******* ** * ******** ** ********** They purchased our original selected propane company. They charged over $0.25/L more and we cancelled when finding this out. They are now trying to stick us with a $250 tank pick up fee which they said I agreed to because they told me about it on the phone. I expressed on phone that this is yet another reason why we will not remain a customer. I have asked them to provide me with the contract that I signed that said I have to pay this 'fee' and they just keep telling me it is on the invoice and because they told me about it on the phone. Just because you tell someone you have a fee and send someone an invoice it does not mean they should have to pay it. I did not sign anything indicating I am required to pay this fee. ********* **** **** *** ******* *** **** **** ****** ** *** ******** **** *** *** ** *** ********* ** ** * ********* **** **** **** **** ********

Superior is charging me 1.40$ per liter and my neighbor .78 cents per liter there reason is because he uses more and fills his tank once a year I updated all new windows insulation and high efficiency furnace as per helping the environment to cut down on fuel so obviously our our government has no interest in cutting fuel consumption since they allow this to happen dont see how this is legal to charge more because I use less
