            On January 19, 2021 HSG sold us and installed a new Lennox furnace. This furnace came with a 10 year extended warranty package. On April 13, 2022, HSG conducted their first annual visit for maintenance service. They found that there was a large build up of soot which they attributed to a spider web inside the third burner. They referred to this condition as a contamination. They informed me, after having conducted the service and after they replaced the air filter (which they charge extra for) that the furnace is unsafe and requires replacement and they do not considered doing this under the warranty. HSG's technicians are the only people that had installed and did any service to the furnace. On April 13, 2022 I contacted Lennox directly and initially they told me that it was under warranty. Subsequently, HSG said that they spoke with Lennox and it was not under warranty. On April 21, 2022 I spoke with a Lennox consumer consultant and they have initiated a case number *******.

            I am extremely impressed with the professionalism show to us in the replacement of our Hot Water Tank today.. **** and his associate arrived on time . het both were very pleasant and explained the procedure and estimate time of completion. Care was taken to put down protection on our floors and stairs and to clean up any mess incurred.. I was also very thankful for the advance email with a picture of **** so we would feel safe to admit him for the work to be done. That is a very comforting extra step especially for seniors and singles. I would highly recommend **** Heating and the Home Service Group to anyone looking for this kind of service ************************* ottawa on
