    The fire panel to the building sounded off on Saturday. Normally, the central alarm center would contact me to inform me so I can action the issue, however, I was never notified. A tenant from contacted the central alarm center & advised them of the alarm. I still did not receive a call or was notified. When the tenant called, the cs agent stated that the alarm had been sounding for an hour at that point. Fast forward to Monday (the alarm still sounding all weekend), the tenant contacted the main office & instead of the alarm company notifying me, they advised HER to notify me. My staff person contacted *********** refused to take accountability & refused to send someone due to a separate issue that they deemed unresolved even though we paid the full amount of the invoice we weren't happy with. We had no outstanding ************* was completely unrelated to the *************** of the people living in the building. The owner sent what I believe to be patronizing ********** ********* any action. By 3pm Monday, I had enough. I spoke to the central alarm ************** claimed they did not inform me because a tenant already called it in?... That was not part of the agreement, nor does the tenant have any authority over the safety of the building.Instead of apologizing & quickly remedying the issue, an exchange of rude text ***************** with excuses followed. By 3:30pm, we had to contact another company to take care of the ********** advised them we would be looking for a new ***************** safety company. I'd like to highlight that we paid for services until 10/31/23 The owner instead decided he would give 5-days notice with 2 being a weekend without allowing us to properly search for a new company. After advising him that there was a contract in force because we tendered payment, he patronizingly stated he would provide an extra month "for compassion to the tenants."The experience left us frustrated & concerned. We do not take our tenants safety lightly.
