i contacted Clera window and doors on the internet , the response was : someone will contact you. So ***** contacted me and i hired him end of dec 2021 . I gave him 5,500.00$ for ordering my Brick mount windows , a door and a patio door and all the work that come with it. The windows and ***** arrived here on May 23, the first day, they installed 1 window, they were gone went i came back. The next morning before they started installing another window, i told them that i was not satisfied with the work as the window was not in correctly, i could see insulation from outside so i told him to stop installing and put back my old window, he told me that he would fix it. he was very upset that i question his work. ** **** ** **** **** ************* *** ****** ** **** so Ok . he fixed it as best as he could and installed another window that day. Next day i told him again that now 2 windows were bad.. He cut all the franges on the side of the windows, he did not want to removed the siding to install the windows. One of the window as a big scratch in the front and a hole on the bottom, I had to hire another contractor to come and check his work. Very bad job he said. I asked the contractor handy man to removed the siding on the front to help. i asked ***** , since he cut all the franges of the windows , to put some white aluminium and to use silicone to glue it on the side of windows. He put that every way he wanted and used no silicone. he did not fix the Typart aslo well. the insulation is not done wet either. the door was installed and then he notice it was opening the wrong way. he installed the patio door handle the wrong way. on the 6 day, i paid him 9000.00 more so he could leave my place. he told me that he would come back to put the right door and pay the 2000.00 left. i contacted Clera many time by email and they dont want to send an inspector . i sent many emails but no response. i asked that management contact me but nothing. i would like a refund or new window **Update June 20/22** *********** *********** i would like some of the windows that ***** ( windows installer) cut all the flanges off and damaged to be replaced at no cost to me. I still dont know why he cut and butchered them instead of removing the siding and installed them correctly. ( when i asked him why he did not removing the siding, his answered was that he is not a siding installer but a window installer) Really, how can you installed window that has flanges around them without removing the siding. his solution, cut everything off. he said that he is not " too Fussy" ( his words) but he should care about the money i paid for these windows and respect the company, CLERA, that he works for and represent . No one around here with ever buy windows from Clear after they saw the butchering that ***** did. I took so many pictures. i dont understand why he is still working for this company. i dont believe that he knew how to install the Brick Mount windows. ( i heard that installer need a special accreditation for those kind of windows i dont know if it0 true) but ***** certainly did not know how to installed them. he told me that 95 % of home owners were not choosing that kind of windows. me , i picked that kind because 2 of my windows ( that i did not change) were like that and that why i choose that style.
