The $ 473.47 shower system I ordered from York Taps arrived 2022-01-20 and I noticed an incorrect shower valve had been shipped. I called York Taps at 905-597-3310 to advise them of the error and I was berated by an unnamed man on the other line. He kept insisting that the correct parts were shipped and if I have any issues, I am to contact ***** directly. He insinuated that ***************** I have no idea what I am talking about because I am not a plumber. As per his direction, I called ***** at * ***-***-****. I spoke to a representative. During our call, we came to the realisation that every single part York Taps had shipped me was a cheap knock off part. The rep asked me to call York Taps back and advise them of this issue and for me to try to seek some sort of resolution with them. **** also sent an email to York Taps directly and CC'd me stating that none of the parts York Taps shipped me are ***** parts. I have a copy of this email. I called York Taps a second time and again spoke with the unnamed representative who berated me once again. This time he was saying because I purchased a "display model", it does not matter whether I received actual ***** parts. I disagreed. I said while I was expecting some dings and scratches since I ordered a display model, I was expecting the parts to be ***** brand. The man refused to issue me any sort of refund, citing the email that was sent to me AFTER the purchase which says exchanges only and that I am not allowed to dispute any charges. I have a copy of said email. I posted a review of my negative experience on ******. I received a phone call from York Taps about my review, this time from "Kal". I asked Kal who the previous agent was that kept berating me and Kal refused to identify the other agent. Kal said they would refund me if I were to delete my review. I said I am receptive to this request and I can delete my review once the money is credited to my **** card. I have yet to be refunded.
