1 starSubject: Feedback on Poor Customer Service Experience **** *** ******** ******** I am writing to express my disappointment with the roadside assistance service I recently experienced. Unfortunately, it highlighted significant issues with your representatives’ training and coordination, making an already stressful situation even worse. When I first called CAA for assistance, the representative had difficulty understanding my location and was unfamiliar with the map. Despite this, she texted me an update, but the location she provided was incorrect. I called CAA again and spoke to a second representative, informing them of the previous error and requesting a correction. They assured me not to worry, saying the tow truck would come to my location. However, I was tracking the tow truck and noticed it was heading in the wrong direction. I called CAA once again and reached a third representative. She spent another five minutes verifying my details, which caused further delays. Despite my efforts to explain the truck’s incorrect direction, by the time the tow truck driver called me, he was 15 minutes away from my actual location. I had already been waiting for 75 minutes by this point. What surprised me most was that this third representative canceled my assigned tow truck and began searching for another one, stating that the system had canceled my request. She informed me that the new truck would arrive in approximately 74 minutes, despite the original truck being just 10 minutes away from me. This was unacceptable, as I had already waited over an hour and repeatedly explained my situation. This experience left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied with your service. It appeared as though your representatives were not actively listening to or prioritizing customer needs. I strongly recommend that CAA invest in better training for your representatives to avoid such incidents in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Review fromAndrew M

Found out my broker no longer works with CAA and went with another broker to stay with CAA and im told we have to pay the first two months up front as if im a new client. asked them to call and get an exception at which time we were told they make no exception in these situations and that i will be treated as a new customer. 1 star****** Just finally gave up trying to reach them (we're customers!) on the phone. Over 80 minutes. ** *** **** * **** *** *** *** ** **** ***** ***** ** *** ***** *** ** ******** * ***** *** ** *** ****** **** ** ** ********. If we can't get in touch, they can't help us! And if I was on the road, my cell battery could easily die so the whole call would be a WASTE, getting me nothing. 1 star**** ******* *** ********** ******* ** **** *** ** *** ********** I have applied for car insurance for my hybrid ****** in June. Everything was fine we had a good, cheap insurance rate. 100 bucks per month. Perfect, no accidents, no tickets etc. I will be honest it was MY fault for having the amount in my savings at the point it was withdrawn. ***** got a NSF fee from my bank as well as CAA. So that's fine I put the amount back over to my checking expecting CAA to take the payment out. Some time went by, just waiting. All of a sudden I get a piece of mail showing my insurance is completely canceled. I didn't get any notice that I had to MANUALLY pay for this. That's fine I'll just go back to my old car insurance. Uh oh, they are now charging me $4000 per year. After 13 years without any issues, my car insurance jumped up at the very minimum $200 per month. CAA is refusing to do anything for this. My old insurance agency can't do anything without some kind of letter of acceptance from CAA, but CAA customer service is no help whatsoever. Do not recommend.Review fromDalibor R

1 starTerrible customer service. Waiting time is over 80 minutes and once you get connected, very often agent just hang up the phone!!!??? And you have to wait again, unbelievable!!! Anything you have to done be ready to take dayoff because it takes over 2 hourse for even simple things like adding driver to the policy!!!Review fromRa B

The use all kind of excuse for not paying what you are entitle for. Regardless of how cheap their rate might be It is not worth to do business with this company. They charge you all kind of premium for the service that they don't provide. What you see on their website is purely advertisement only ***** ***** ** ********** ** ***** *************. the worst part of this company is accident claim. If you pay premium for rental car when it come to them that you want to use that their policy is different with other insurance company. If you are in accident and your car is write-off they provide you with rental car but with in few days their adjuster throw you an offer and then asked you to return the rental car. The end rental time depends on the day that the day they provide you with the offer and not the settlement date. It means regardless of accepting or rejecting their offer you have to return the rental car. If you reject their offer they will ask you to send 3 comparable adds from dealership on auto trader. They don't accept private adds. They don't care how much you spend on your car or at what condition it was. And if you are not happy and wanted to escalate the matter through whatever department that they mentioned on their website then good luck you won't receive any answer. Had my policy with them for about 4 to 5 years…called up one day to add another vehicle to my policy, was asked for my phone number , they said they couldn’t find it in the system, offered up other info for them to check for, was told they can’t do it any other way. Decided to call back next day and get someone **** *********. He found me right away, but then tells me I don’t have a policy with them anymore ???? He says it had been cancelled and that they could rewrite the policy but I would start back at 0 star rating! This time however was a different story- I wanted a refund. I was told I had 10 days to change my mind and would receive a refund. I realized my credit card included travel insurance and there was no need for an additional cost.I called to cancel and the customer service rep had to consult with a "Ryan" *** * ** ******** *** * ********** * ******* ****** ** **** * ***** who wanted proof I had other insurance and wanted me to provide my credit card info and policy number .
