worst dealership - misdirect and mislead you * ***** **** **** **** **** ** ********* i did an instant cash offer from YoungeSteeles Ford Licoln via ********** - my vehicle was valued at $30K (had similar offers from other dealers) My used vehicle is in mint condition (one owner, all mntc records done at dealership); new tires, rotors, pads, suspension. Similar vehicle (year and model) are selling for $40k When i went into the Young-Steeles Ford Lincoln dealership to purchase a 2023 ******* (and trade in my vehicle) they refused to acknowledge their 'trade in offer from **********' statting " $30K number is an automatically generated number based on Black book value by ******** company. It is not an official appraisal from Yonge Steeles Ford." They offered me $19K I showed them "the email' from ********** clearing showing their name YOUNGE STEELES FORD LICOLN and the $30K offer. I also showed them other offers from different dealers (again via **********) showing similar value. They also stated the car was only selling for $28-30K yet I can produce similar car selling for $40k (********** listings). How can they justify this action -- they lure you into the dealership and then cut the price by another $11K. This is not right I can understand going from $40K retail sales to offering me $30K (they need to make a living) but down to $19K They mislead ***** ** *** ***** with information. it is not retailing at $30k **** *** it retails for $40K they advertise 'instant cash of $30K then only offer you $19K **** *** I have been buying new and used cars all my life (over twenty ) - never have i been treated like this from any dealership this is by far the worst dealership -- **** ***** *** **** ******* **** *** ******* * ***** *** ******* Third - they took advantage that they were the only local dealer who had the make/model and features i wanted -- they new that and refused to offer me a fair deal on my trade-in They tarnished the good name of FORD.
