      *** **** ***** ****** ** *** ***************** ************** *** ************** I got approval for the condo mortgage with Home Trust...and I also signed the finally document at notary before releasing the fund. They suddenly cancelled the mortgage due to my credit scores being changed a bit. This is very ********** behaviour **** ***** *** *** ** *** *** **** ****** ** *** ***** **** ** **** **** **** ** *** **** ** **** ***** I suffered this ************** and irresponsible lender *** **** *** *** ***** ***** *** ***** ******* **** ***

      Terrible customer service! Noticed fraud charges on the card through alerts. This was strange since I never use the card so how did the number get exposed? Contacted customer service and all they do is transfer me to different areas with no solution. It's been 6 weeks with no resolution. I'm still waiting for the transactions to go through disputes before I can cancel the card. So frustrating!

      I have a Home Trust ****, and Home Trust contacted me leaving a voicemail to validate my address. Somehow they had my old address resurface from a different portal. Because of this we did not receive two past statements. When I called in to describe the situation and if interest can be removed due to the error on their end, the person I was speaking to said he will put in the request but I would need to be sent to collections. I asked why would this be as I just indicated the reason why we did not pay our outstanding bill based on THEIR error and there is no past history of payment issues before. Clearly this is not an ongoing issue? He could only indicate that because the bill was two months behind I would have to go to collections. As I was trying to explain my perspective, the person also kept trying to talk and interrupt me to the point where I had to ask if he would allow me to speak? There was no taking the situation into context and all he could say was how he "had" to follow procedures and that it was his supervisor who told him he had to send me to collections. Completely inappropriate, completely indifferent to what proper customer service should be and clearly no ability to use ************ judgement and have the ability to take customer specific situation into context. Very disappointing experience and this certainly has left a poor perception on how this company works and their customer service standards. Would not recommend their credit cards and/or services to anyone.

      Only had the card for a couple months now. They locked the card due to a suspicious transaction. They were very helpful when i called them and they unlocked the card with no issues. So far everything is as advertised.

      They are absolutely the most uncooperative company I have ever dealt with. After closing a loan and paying it off in full they took an unauthorized payment out of my account (wish I had put a stop payment). They refused to take responsibility for their mistake, *** * *** ** ******** ** **** * ********* **** *** ***** ********** ** *** ****** ** ***** ** *** * ******* ** **** ** *****  Issue has yet to be resolved. I will say the initial customer service agent I spoke with was the most helpful, kind and understanding but after no confirmation from their management or follow up, I had escalate my persistence in order to get a manager to respond / confirm. The company has created their own customer service issues due to their policy of not putting calls through to supervisors/managers when requested by a clients and can only send them emails requesting that they call back a client at the manager’s convenience vs the clients’.

      Upon cancelling my card, on August 22nd, I was told I would receive my $500 deposit (for a secured credit card) in 30-45 days. I was told that was their cycle. I finally called on October 2nd due to not yet receiving my cheque in the mail. I spoke to a rep and was told that cheque #1 would be cancelled and cheque #2 would be rushed to me in 7-10 business days. I received cheque #1 on October 3rd. I then called again on October 5th to see what to do (I assumed this was cheque #1 and wanted to know if it could be reversed) since I did not want to cash a cancelled cheque. I was told on October 5th, when I called that the matter would be reviewed by management and I would get a call from them to be given further instruction. I called once again on October 18th and said I had not yet heard from them and wanted to know what was going on. I was told by another rep that nothing had been seen or done since I called on October 5th. I was then told that it would be escalated to management and that I would get a call to let me know if cheque #1 was, in fact cancelled, or if they would be rushing me a cheque through ****** ****. Again, no call, no cheque and now it's been 3 business days since that call, on October 18th. I am beyond tired of waiting for my money and no one seems to want to do anything about it. They always say "I will send this to management" but nothing ever seems to get done. I should not have to wait this long for my own money to be returned to me. I am not sure what the issue is

      ********* ** **** ******* *** *** high interest rate having to be payed and penialized for someone whom is self employed. While everyone is paying a low percentage find this totally unfair. When have been with this company for years without a miss payment. And overall the misinterpretation of a good hard working person and still being dinged so highly.

      ***** *** **** ******* ** *** , they use excuses after excuses to not give you a good rate. If hey say they will and then you get going on the approval and they change , I used to co-signers on mine and they still told me I will be paying a high interest rate . This company wants you to foreclose on your home .

      Applied for and approved for secured credit card with Home Trust. They accepted my deposit however it has been a month and they have not sent the card. Was told that it was a processing error. They cannot tell me when card will be sent. I was told if I wanted to cancel and get refund of deposit, it would take months to obtain refund.

      You can’t reach certain individuals at the company. Imagine an employee writing letters but you can’t reach them by telephone. Instead you have to talk to someone with zero knowledge about your situation. The fees are outrageous. Terrible experience
