      From my most recent experience with Capreit, they handled my situation with lack of ********** *** ******* caring **** ***** *** *** ****** ****** **** *** ******* ** ****** ***** ******* * *** * ******* ***** *** ****** **** ** **** *** *** ** **** ** **** ******* They completely disregarded my personal situation and made demands and excessive communication to collect money and enforce their contract. My civil rights felt violated. They are happy and accommodating to get you in their rental units however at the end of tenancy, they turn on you 180 degrees. * ***** ***** ***** ** *** ************ *** **** *** *** *** ****** *****

      I don't want to speak for the entire company, but the Capreit management team in London Ontario is absolute garbage. The only time they were even slightly helpful was the day I signed my lease. Shocking, i know. I pay for an assigned parking spot, with a signed parking agreement stating the spot number is mine. Not only did it take an entire month to get a spot, with multiple emails asking when I'll get one, but I've emailed them over 10 times stating someone has parked in my spot. 6 times it was the same two vehicles. The most they've done was slide a red notice under my door so that I could put it on the car myself. One notice... with spelling mistakes and no company logo or anything tying the notice to the company. I asked on the day I viewed the unit if it was a fairly sound proof building, and the lady said it was incredibly quiet since it was concrete, can't hear a thing. All i hear all day is kids running up and down the halls, footsteps above, dishwasher doors, people above me talking. I'd love to get into all the bugs i've found, and the landlord special paint and cleanup job, but I'll run out of characters. There's always garbage scattered in the stairwells and outside. The amount of obvious water damage issues and mold is also ridiculous. I'm getting out of here the moment my lease is up, which is really disappointing because this building is in the perfect area of town and I really wanted it to be somewhere I stay long term.

      I have lived in the same CAPREIT building for over 10 years. Management works hard to upgrade and maintain the building.

      ****** ** *** **** **** **** ******** I reside in N Chesterfield VA and since this company has taken over our complex, it's been nothing short of a disaster. The Resident Manager is just not approachable. When asking for information she won't even extend the common courtesy of replying to your inquiry. I live on the 4th floor of my complex and for months there were issues with our elevator. This is a convenience I'm paying for. Finally last week there's a note posted on each floor stating "the elevator is out of service please use stairs". I think as a tenant I have every right to ask when will the elevator be repaired? I have yet to receive a reply. Absolutely no transparency.

      I would like to know why your ads say you are the greatest place to live? In Burlington at ******** ****** ** **** ** ** live with mold that we clean and then ask the office to do when it gets really bad. That is just one instance there's many more like they won't fix much such as the freezer door pops open when the refrigerator door closes, some windows need replaced but they just put a bandage on it and then come back to put another bandage as the process goes on and on. In the kitchen there is a wide gap at the top of the cupboards which looks like a five year old did it. Also with the windows the chalking needs replaced on almost all the windows. At this time I can't think of any more but there is. * **** **** *** ****** ** ******* *** *** **** ***** *** ** ********

      Fares from 2525 Cavendish in Montreal was amazing! Very kind and professional. He answered all of my questions and stayed even when his shift was over. Thanks to people like this, is that we choose Capreit.

      I live in ottawa on ******* ***** Since Capreit has taken over in Dec 2020 they have been upgrading the site and are near completing the new fences. The manager at our site Catherine S. has been awesome on getting repairs and any other concerns dealt with in a timely manner. I find she is the perfect manager for our site. She deals with any concerns with tenants sometimes it's out of her control but she directs them to the best solution for each individual tenant. Her assistant Adul has been helpful at times.
