On January 21, 2022, your branch made an unauthorized withdrawal from my bank account in the amount of $150.52 after receiving full payment of the outstanding debt on January 13, 2022. The excess in funds had caused me to receive an NSF paid fee and my card declined while buying groceries for my children. This business has not tried to resolve the issue.Customer response

Ask to have my January payment defered and was granted but on the 4th of January the payment was taken out which left me over drawn ,i notified the local branch on the 5th when i found out . I am still trying to get a refund which they say is coming but this almost a week now phoned again today and was told "will check into and call back "that is what i have been hearing every time i call but never hear back .My bank charged me $48.00 for over draft and they returned my rent payment and my landlord is charging me $50.00 for not have the money in my account. I don't think it is right that i should be penalized because of their mistake and would like to have some thing done thank you .Customer response

Fairestone financial in maple ontario on Keele Street I got a Lohan from them names.************** long story short I had a Lohan with fairstone financial I paid off my Lohan in the beginning of the year and now I look at my cridet report and Fairstone is showing a open account update October 30.2021 with the amount of 3,000 which I never did or I never agreed on my conser is why dose fairstone still have my.person information to re.open a Lohan under my name after it should have been closed.formthe last 8 months longer is this write ? I'm waiting for someone to call me back but that dosent change the fact that my person information they still have and Cleary is being used with out my knowledge my information should not still be stored in there database the picture is the proof. I won't to move forward with a companit before.i do so I wanna make sure that my information should have not still been stored.in there database because now my personal information is being used.under there company with out me knowing and with me.thinking that my information is no longer in there database *** ******* ** ******** ** **** ******************************* and *****************************. Were no help and did understand how to fix this issue disappointed in both these people.for.displaying poor behavior and don't have a clue how to handle situations at hand both those people my information was comparsaised by fairestone financial well after my information should have been out of there system why a year later I'm being told that it's fraud and I was told a supervisor was going to call me back didn't get one my information should have never been in.there data base after my Lohan was closed i made it Cleary to Michal once I paid that Lohan off but he seem.has culess has his boss Anthony we have a big problem here and no one at Fair stone is answering my questions or giveing me.call backs like I was toldCustomer response

FAIRSTONE FINANCE HAS PUT SOMEONE ELSES CREDIT ACCOUNT TO MY CREDIT BUREAU WHICH HAS DAMAGED MY CREDIT BUREAU AND HAS STOPPED ME FROM MOVING FOWARD WITH A MORTGAGE, AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS TO CALL THEM AND A VISIT TO A LOCAL BRANCH HERE THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT OR DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. * ** ********* * ***** *** ******* ****** **** ** *** ** **** *** *** *** **** *** *** *** ** *** **** ** ***** ****** ********** ****** **** ******* ********Business response

This seems to be a ******* issue , they have cross reference theses customers credit file.
Not much I can do here , the customer would need to direct his complaint to the credit bureau and not Fairstone.
These complaint should be referred to the credit profile as this is there error and not Faitstone’s.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: ******* canada sent you a request which you ignored, and even your collection agency noticed they have been reporting to the wrong credit bureau. Ill give you until Friday to have this pulled and my credit bureau fixed if any failire to do so I will take the appropriate legal actions against fairstone and sue your agency. Your mistake not mine. P.s No ******* did not merge two files together that was caused by your collection agency reporting it to the wrong bureau after they bought that PERSONS account from you. You have until friday to remove it and restore my credit bureau failure to do so will lead to a law suite which will include all damages to my family and I personally, Our expenses for accomidations ***** * **** ** ****** ** **** ** ****** **** * *****, storage costs and all legal costs.

Good Morning,
We are still waiting on feedback from ******* , I have contacted them yesterday for a follow up , they have assured me this case has been place under “ RUSH”
And is being investigated , this complaint should really have been directed to ******* and not Fairstone as this is a credit bureau error and not a Fairstone issue.
However , I’m doing my best to assist the customer , will get back to you asap.
