At 12:02 I called her back and she informed me that she would call me back to let me know when he would be available and he was supposed to give me a call to let me know that he was running late. She then calls me back to inform me that he will be there within the next hour to an hour and a half. I got no response until 1:39 PM when he called me to let me know that he's about 20 to 25 minutes away from my house that would make the appointment to start at 2 PM at that point I informed him that I had other obligations I took a half-day from work and intended to work the rest of the day because I was expecting for him to be at least done by 2 PM based on the amount of work that he would provide. I was frustrated because of the lack of communication. First Ashley made no effort to at least confirm where he was at in the job to give me an idea of when he would be coming since it was very close to the 9 to 12 window. Secondly I was the one that had to reach out twice to confirm when he was coming and At both times that I communicated with them they were very short dismissive and informed me that they cannot control the flow of traffic. I missed an entire day of work ,I work on commission and I did not like the lack of professionalism utilized by these technician and the representative(Ashley).
I chose an earlier job because the furniture would be wet and they were going to be cleaning my mattresses I would not be able to sleep on my mattress and Nor would my children if he were to come so late in the day. I reached out to Better Business Bureau because of the lack of professionalism and the utter disrespected I receive over the phone. I think it could've been handled better. I chose to cancel the job because as a woman I did not feel comfortable with someone already being disrespectful over the phone to come in my home in my bedroom to provide the service.
So no I do not feel comfortable removing the comment on Better Business Bureau and I did not except for them to come to my home at a discounted rate.
I wrote this because they were unprofessional and they harm my business because of the lack of consideration for my time.
