Ms. Shen joined Better Business Bureau in 2008 as the Manager of Human Resources. In 2013 Ms. Shen transitioned to Sales as the Director of Sales before returning back to Human Resources in 2017.

As the Director of Human Resources, Ms. Shen leads Human Resources practices and objectives that provides an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Her areas of expertise include: Benefits & Compensation, Policy & Procedure, Recruitment & Staffing, and Performance Management.

In 2009, Ms. Shen attained her Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is a member of SHRM, the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, and NorthEast Human Resource Association (NEHRA), the largest, most influential professional HR organization in the Northeast.

Ms. Shen is the mother of 2 grown children and grandmother of 3 grandsons. Most weekends you can find her in hockey rinks or baseball fields cheering on her grandsons.
