Gina Taylor - Empowerment Coach & Entrepreneurial Strategist
Grow Academy

Session Title - It’s Her World And You’re Next to Lead It

Session Description
This isn’t just a theme, it’s a declaration. It’s Her World and You’re Next to Lead It is a call to every woman who has ever played small, waited for permission, or dimmed her light to make others comfortable. Whether you're leading a boardroom, a business, a classroom, or your own personal comeback, this moment is about reclaiming your voice, rewriting your rules, and owning the life you were born to live.

You’ll be challenged to let go of fear, rise from every “no,” and step into rooms you once felt unqualified for. Because leadership isn’t just a title, it’s a mindset, a movement, and a mirror. It’s time to stop surviving and start orchestrating. This is your world now. Lead it with vision. Rule it with confidence. Build it with intention. No more waiting. It’s your turn.

Corporate Leadership Educator

In corporate settings, Gina equips professionals with the tools to overcome insecurity, build authentic confidence, and lead with purpose. Her sessions empower teams to communicate more effectively, grow in emotional intelligence, and develop everyday leadership skills that create lasting impact both at work and in life. Through her confidence-driven, results-oriented approach, Gina has helped turn caterpillars into butterflies—transforming hesitant individuals into courageous, competent leaders.

Gina is deeply committed to empowering women to lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose in both their personal and professional lives. Through mentorship, strategic coaching, and leadership development, she helps women identify their strengths, navigate challenges, and break through barriers that have historically limited their growth. Her mission is to create space for women to thrive—whether that means shattering glass ceilings, launching businesses, or excelling in executive roles. She believes in equipping women not just to succeed but to lead with integrity, authenticity, and vision.

Who I Am

From the stylist's chair to the boardroom and the pulpit, Gina Wright Taylor turns every stage into a launchpad for purpose. Raised in Port Arthur, Texas after an early childhood in Gary, Indiana, Gina developed resilience as the eldest of five in a single-parent home—a strength that now fuels her mission to help others rise above limitations and lead with bold integrity.

A licensed cosmetologist and co-owner of De Luxe Cheveux Salon, owner of Forever Young Collection, and founder/visionary leader of Grow Ministries and Grow Academy, Gina leads two platforms dedicated to spiritual growth, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and personal transformation.

Gina is an award-winning hairstylist (Houston Hair Awards "Best Hairstylist" of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur News "Best Hairstylist", multiple national show honors). Yet her deepest impact comes through service: she provides complimentary makeovers for women in crisis, organizes holiday toy drives for children, adopts local high schools through community outreach programs, and has hosted a Back to School Explosion where she provided students with supplies, entertainment, and Bible lessons.

She mentors youth and churches in the Golden Triangle, spends time ministering in nursing homes, hospitals, and the homeless community. In addition, she ministers in halfway houses and behind bars—leading Bible studies and worship services, providing spiritual nourishment to those often overlooked by society, building relationships with them personally, and even doing hair care.

Academic Background

Gina holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Lamar University, a Master's degree in Theology, is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Beaumont, and a 2023 graduate of Lamar University's Executive MBA program. She is also a certified John Maxwell Team Coach, Trainer, and Speaker. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, she is a licensed and ordained Minister and Prophetess.
