Description

My son bought tickets from ticketsales.com but then called me when they asked for his signature, a photograph to be uploaded of his credit card, and a photograph of his picture ID to be uploaded. There is no reason to upload any of this information for online purchases. The fee for the ticket was almost double what he could've bought it for from the venue or Ticketmaster. We called to cancel the transaction and customer service was very sketchy. We have yet to see if he will get his money refunded. Thankfully my son called home before entering personal information. Otherwise he would have as the communications says that he will not get his tickets unless he does this. They do have his full name, postal code and credit card number. I researched the company online and all the reviews say that this company is a scam. I also noticed in the verbatim complaints that many of them occurred on university campuses and I wonder if they target youth in this way.
